I am going to choose cyndaquil as a beginner but I do no know what moves I want to teach it when it evolves into typhlosion. What moves should I teach typhlosion? (also include nature, and held item)

How does Typhlosion learn Thunderpunch?

Is there a move tutor?

My Typhlosion ( Docile Nature/Quick Tempered ) has Eruption, Rollout, Double-Edge, Swift but I would like to replace swift with another move. I am thinking about changing Rollout and Double-Edge as well.

Thunder Punch - will probably replace Swift
Earthquake - I haven't changed it yet, but it's going to replace Rollout

should I change Double-Edge or replace it and if so, with what?

typhlosion is a pokemon of special attack so give it 4 of these moves of your choice
flamethrower
blast burn
eruption
focus blast
heat wave
and maybe throw in a thunderpunch to defend against water types

quote PokeFreak1994
If this is for ingame... go for Ember, Overheat, Blast Burn, And eruption...
Because honestly... You can get through the game with A team of all Caterpies.

For wifi tho...
I say use him as a Special sweeper...
His spAttack is far greater then his attack.
252 SpAttack/252 Speed.
Choice Specs/Scarf.
- Overheat
- Focus Blast
- Extrasensory
- Hidden Power Grass

Amazing type coverage... and strong attacks. Ya Cant go wrong...
Yeah... i meant special attack >.<
Thanks Eon >.<... Fixed it.

I think you mean to put those EVs in Special Attack instead of physical attack

Noo! It's all a big misunderstanding!
I'd rather not put stupid HM's on my Poke's, but I always tend to distribute them evenly on my team so I don't have to use HM slaves.
Now that I've finished the game, I'm thinking of getting rid of the HM's. But I don't use Typhlosion anymore anyway.
