Nu Wa Rocks
Have you tried scanning for spyware? Many times virus and spyware can clog up a network because it uses the host PC to spam itself out to other PCs on the network.

I live in quite a techie household, so we have about 8/9 computers going at once on a normal day. Monday night we realised the connection to the WWW kept failing, we rebooted the router, upgraded the firmware in the small window of time between reboots when the WWW connected. We can still connect to other computers on the LAN and programs that use the internet and not the WWW are still connected.
Last night we figured out that it is a certain computer which causes the connection to the WWW to fail, a virus scan has been done and nothing was found, does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?
