I'm an old customer for Gadget Asia, they are based in Hong Kong and they are having a pre-order activity now.

Agreed. I pre ordered any way though, just in case. Plus I had $50 leftover, and nothing to spend it on. I get paid today, and when I trade my old one along with my DSi(I no longer play, big let down there nintendo. Broken promises. For shame), hopefull I wont have to pay any thing

^ If you go to whatever store is selling it they should let your pre-order. But I wouldn't expect a big rush on release day.

I just don't want to have a fierce competition to get a new one on 1st Oct, does anyone know where can i have a pre-order for that?

I work for EB, ofc you can trade in your PSP hah. Honestly though, don't. You won't make much, and you'll always want a PSP which can play UMDs on the side.

No, the 2000 can be traded. He'll be fine. Plus even if he doesnt they wont stop making UMD's, and the downloaded games will work on it too.
