So let's say you have 2 accounts. The names are similar but you haven't used one in a very long time and don't plan on ever using it again. Is there a way to switch the names of the accounts because you like the other one better? I was thinking you could get the other one deleted somehow and then use the name change feature. I know you can't delete accounts but could you maybe get one permabanned or something and do this? Or just ask a super mod or Redemption if they could just ban that account forever so you could change the names, since that would equal more money ($10) for him I don't see why they wouldn't want to. If they do delete the account somehow, then I will be able to change my name and it won't say the name is already being used.
I would give you a link to the thread where he took my names and made accounts with them so I couldn't change my name, which he will never use the accounts, but the thread was moved to the evidence thingy. But pretty much, he has offered to give me the account name I wanted to change mine to. So yeah, I am wanting the names to be switched or something after I get it. And I will PM Red I guess and ask him. Maybe he will understand or maybe he will call me a fool, the world may never know, until he replies...
And from my understanding, merging wouldn't help me since it only moves the post count and nothing more.

not anymore..they moved the thread to the evidence place or whatever. He gave the account he made with it back though, so since it is only a few days old, and I read somewhere where it said they can be less than 10 days old and it should be free, so I can change it for free. At least that's what I got out of this:
Free name changes for members who already have a working account older then 10 days are no longer allowed, period.

no. That's not really a typo...
The other account name already exists as well so you couldn't just change it to that. Can you *prove* the other guy intentionally stole the name just to *bleep* block it from you?

That would work fine for me. But instead, it is my brother's account we are sharing instead of sixpack. One= Shadow_of_Truth Two= Shadow of Truth
I know it is not a big name change, but when I posted what name would be the best for me to either change my name for or let him make an account with someone stole the name b4 we could change my name. So he decided just to make that one and wants the names switched. It is kind of confusing but you have the right idea.

To sum up your question...
You have two accounts.
One = sixpack Two = OMGDELICIOUSNAMEHERE
Account one has all the stuff for your Neohistory which you would like to keep. Account two is the name you want and is associated with (almost) nothing.
The neostaff team/Redemption would in that case (after receiving your $10 name change fee), just move the names around. You can't use anything like a free name change in this scenario either. Be prepared to hand over $10 somehow.
