I thought he was gonna be like the last boss for the elder then I am doing 4 stars, then BAM an ugrent quest to kill the tigrex. WTF?? Isnt that thing way out of my league? It takes me like 25 minutes to kill a yian garuga and now they send me in for the tigrex? what does the elder think, I'm some unstoppable force in golden armour? My character is the opposite of that, I have to use those flash bombs which people say are cheap and I use shock traps to kill bosses yet they still kill me once.
what equipment is best suited for the tigrex?
I currently got for armour full blango all equiupment level 6. my total defence is like 210 or something.
what is a good weapon to have? I got a longsword(devil slicer) but everywhere I go(on the internet) people say they suck so I might need something better.

Trade a Battlefield Jewel with the Jungle Veggie Elder for Thunderbug Juice.
Trade Dragonmoss or Dragonwood with the Snowy Mountains Veggie Elder for Thunderbug Juice.
Be sure to save before you try b/c you don't always get the juice you need. If you don't get it, reload your game and try again until you get it.

he's right i kicked his ass with full ceanatuar and devil slicer. thought i would of never killed him.

I used full ceanutaur first time i did it with the devil slicer. And you should also bomb him i find that helps an awful lot especially when he is in sock traps. Second time i used a mixture of ceanutaur and blango armour with the deathprize and i found it a little harder.

Full Ceanatuar armor (upgraded as far as possible with armor spheres and such) and Devil Slicer work well at that level. Flashbombs, shocktraps, materials to make more, and combo books really help a lot.

you know actually it took me a while i used my wyvern blade 'leaf' and full rathrlos armor lvl 5
IMPORTANT EDIT: I defeated him!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOO Finally! took me four tries, the first time he just plain owned me, second try I got him bloody, third try I got him to sleep(the story I said above) and then the fourth try I found him sleeping, I attacked his face like a thousand times and he didnt die, but I ran away, and he fell asleep again so I went back in attacked came out, he fell asleep and so on. then finally he died! I was disappointed because I couldent make any of the armour or weapons though. But I will try him out in the desert now and try making the full set of armour or make the sword and shield tigrex weapon, and the longsword tigrex weapon.

Lol so its possible to get golden armor? Yes, definitely, silver too...damn, grab yourself a scythe and walk around as something resembling Death (Death Stench armour) later on lol
I fought the tigrex well, he is a challenge. I would of killed him if it wasnt for the giaprey. I fought him for like 20 minutes in area 8 and 6 and I died twice in the time, then he fled to area 3 and I saw him sleeping. I wanted to get rid of the giaprey first but somehow the stupid giaprey attacked him and woke him up, and you know how area 3 is really small, I had troubles dodging his attacks and he did a combo on me, I couldent recover ands then I died the third time. I bet I would of got him.
I will try again but I might change the decorations a bit. is there a way to make your guy run faster? After he does an attack I barely have time to run up and attack him then start dodging again. the sword swipe is a bit too slow.
