Well Mew is said to be the "Ancestor of Pokemon" But Arseus on the other hand is said to be the "God Of all Pokemon" so....... Why is that

My thought is that Arceus came and made the world and mew so arceus and mew BOTH created land and pokemon...arceus=land and some ledgends Mew=pokemon general

He's been "the chosen one" since day one. He saw Ho-oh before it was even considered a legitimate Pokemon.

It wouldn't be canon to the games, though, since they would stick Ash in as some kind of messiah in helping create the world and stuff.

Like he is some kind of a messiah in every movie.

In GSC they were catchable just in a patch of grass south of Goldenrod

So Mew and Ditto are same thing. Ditto is just ugly premature baby of Mew.
Similar to what you said, I'd say Ditto is the byproduct of Mew's evolution. While most Mews gave birth to different "Mews" that became new creatures, some Mews only gave birth to a sort of lesser form of themselves, thus the advent of Ditto.
