Except those were on a GBA, where you couldn't expect much.
Now we're on the DS. And to not exploit as much as possible is a disappointment.

i thought that they're gonna show a battle with a gym leader, but knowing that Pokemon Sunday always shows us small details every week (and details that we already knew) means that i already had my hopes down to wait for the next show and look for some new stuff.
i'd rather wait for the new coro coro scans on august.

They don't need to show us NEW features, really. I'd be happy to see more animations like that Tyranitar using Rock Smash. Show us the Sudowoodo tree. Show us a battle against a Gym Leader. New sprites. Show us the Daycare Center. Union Cave. Just something new to keep us interested. Although it was nice to see the Pokethlon a bit more in-depth, I can't say I was really interested or surprised with anything they showed.

I'm sure they're just waiting to keep more as surprise.
& besides, how much more do you expect them to have added in? it is a remake, not a brand new game.
