Well...as far as i know, fertilizers were made from rotten crops in your storage. If you had gave Lucus the 'never-melting-ice', then your crops won't get rot. That means you can't make any fertilizer again.

it might be that your card. is damaged for the chicken problem and as for the fertilizer go back to a previous save (if u have 1)or start over because the crystal makes it to were nothing ever goes bad and as for crops no i dont think so but you can always regrow them.
ps. sorry if some of my info doesnt help since ive never bothered with the fertilizer.

Ok, the first one is with my chickens. >.< I have 6 chickens. One is a chick, and five are grown up. They are all gold--or so I thought. My three original chickens had the other three. Since they were gold, when the golden egg hatched, it said G. Chick. But when they grew up, it glitched. Now two of my chickens are half red, half gold. What is with my chickens??! I know that when my chick grows up, it'll be the same. Is there any way to stop this? I have one idea...but I'm not for sure. If my red/gold chickens reach 10 hearts, will they become full gold?
Now onto my next problem.
The day is fall 28, 2nd Year. A month before, in summer, the hurricanes destroyed my fields. Yes, this may not be much of a problem, but it is when all the U-tilled spots were fertilized. When the hurricane wiped them out, I had to till them again...but I couldn't fertilize them. So parts of the crops were growing much slower than the rest. The reason is this. Since I got the glacier from the cave and gave it to Lucas, I haven't been getting fertilizer. I had barely any to start, so I've been using very little. I only have 5 bags left now, and 4 of my U-tilled spots are damaged. Yes, I could use 4 of my bags, but I'd be left with one. What if the hurricanes in the 3rd year destroy them again? I wont be able to fix anything. Is there a way to prevent the hurricanes from destroying my crops again? Will chopping down all my crops before the hurricane stop them from being damaged? My only other solution is to re-till all of my field and live with no fertilization at all. Please, is there any other way? Please give me your best solutions!

Thank you so much for reading this (and sorry it was so long). ~Golden Shana
