Yeah, I made an entirely separate thread because I'm not getting an answer in the Homebrew thread and I'd like to get this done ASAP.
I'm an utter PSP nub, so bare with me. I have a pre-slim fat PSP, firmware is 3.71 and using the little UMD tray tut I saw the IC1003. Now, I need to know exactly what I have to do, cause I'm not sure if I need a Pandora Battery (and if I do I need this explained to me, exactly what it is, what it does, what happens, how to do it) or if I can downgrade. On top of that, I have no idea where to start, since from what I've seen the steps are like a circle, each one requires and previous one to be done and so forth, so I'd like someone to explain the exact order in which I do this. Thanks.
I haven't started "converting" my PSP, but I have one battery and a 4gb Memory Stick Pro Duo as well if those are needed.

so i was able to pandora my battery, i think, but in the process of cuttin open the plastic shell cover, i punctured part of the tin housing for the battery, ruining it.
SOooo i ordered 4 more batteries and they should be here in a few days, i will pandora 3 of them and keep the last as a back up battery.
that guide made it sound like dmging the battery while cutting it was new impossible, its not, anyone using that guide should now to be very very VERY gentle when cutting open the seal around the plastic casing, the tin housing is very thing, and it apears that any puncture of it will ruin the battery.
Really? I'm very surprised, I've never punctured the tin casing in my life! I'll change it right away.
