So since I was last here on Neoseeker a good 2+ years ago, I've finally invested in a DSLR camera. It's still very much an occasional hobby though since I'm now in my final year of University and work a part time job.
Accomplishments: In moving image I've worked on Dickenson's Real Deal, Coronation Street, filmed a play at The Lowry Theatre and had my first short film screened at an international film festival. In photography I was asked to take pictures of Lou Molloy (David Beckhams tattoo artists and star of 'London Ink') Manchester United footballer Chris Smalling and 'Page 3' models. I'm the offical photographer of a local band and i've also had a couple of my photographs printed in the local paper.

I thought I'd start up my own thread, since I have quite a few photos to share. Keep in mind that I'm a very beginner (I started taking photos on Monday) I don't know much about photography at all, and my camera is just an average Digital Camera too. I'm doing this mainly as something to do over the summer holidays.
However I am interested in making my photos better somehow. I would like to see what people think of my photos, and any constructive criticism also would obviously be useful to me.

A few nights ago I visited an abandoned theatre that was built in the 1800s, we explored the basement by torch light so I couldn't capture any of the more spooky sights. Apparently there were 'devil traps' down there :S

Most of your photos are pretty good, and I see progress throughout the pictures. I REALLY love that very first picture of the cyclist in the tunnel! Mind-blowing in my opinion!

Slanted pictures don't often turn out the best. On rare occasions do they really look good. Small slants make it look like a mistake.

remember, keep your photos straight, rest the camera on your knee if you have to, don't make the photo slant, KEEP IT STRAIGHT

That is some nasty water.
3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, and 15 are my favorites, although for some reason, none of them really seem that amazing to me.
