hey cactuar, the fastest ive even beatin minerva was probably in a less then 5 minutes, i used gil toss.

in order to deal 99,999 damage per gil toss, you need a minumum of 50 million gil, i recomend gettin 60 million tho, wear the genji glove or get 255 luck, for crit every time.

she has 10 million health in normal

gil toss will do about 499000 damage per toss, so you need to use it about 20 times.

in Newgame+ she has 20 million hp

and in newgame++ i dont know what her hp is.

Surely you need alot of Gil to beat her.. I never used toss, I am way too stingy to throw my cash away hahaha

Mildly off-topic, but it saves making a new thread Has anybody beaten Minerva without having Costly Punch equipped? If so, what did you use?

Costly punch does not cost any money. It cost 1/64th of your life so it is VERY little. The attack does the maximum possible as long as your health is not in break status. So 9999 early in the game and after breaking the hurt limit 99,999. It makes the game quite cheap to play.

The easiest way to get it is in Gongaga. When you are there before you fight hollander you'll come across a waterfall. Go run around the hills and win seven battles then cross the stream and zack will notice a chest. Say they'll be more and catch at least 10 of them to get a goblin punch. Mix that goblin punch with any dmw materia or strong materia. Be sure you don't lose a materia you like though. If you have any punch currently you can make a costly punch by mixing it with a strong materia.
