In G/S/C, we had the unique opportunity from any other Pokemon game to have your Mom hold on to half of your winnings from each battle, like a bank.
Did you guys use this feature? Would you want something similar or changed in Heart Gold and Soul Silver?
I didn't use it to much, I turned the system off, then when I wanted special furniture for my room (that your Mom buys with your money if you save enough), I would just turn it on. But after playing through the game from the beginning, when you don't have much money in the beginning, I found myself broke.
Maybe include an interest system? Something to make it more worth while.

I don't really care about the saving money through your mum system... or money that much in the game really. I mean I buy items as much as the next person, but I've never paid attention to my total amount of money in the game.
Now if they introduce a big, really cool looking bank I might be tempted.

So true, that phone was many great things to me. I think it was the first "Vs. Seeker" as well.

I forgot all about this feature too. Now I vaguely recall it saying, Sent half your money to mom.(or something to that effect) after every battle. Must you spend all my money though, mother?

You know I completely forgot about this feature until reading this thread. I liked it, it was cool when she bought you random items to decorate your room with.
