I don't know if it has been already answered, but it's hard to find on this forum. If I look for Smash Ball, it will show tons of bullshit topics.
Well, I was playing today, and I wanted to know how much should you be hit to lose the smash ball. Or there is a different factor? Is it easier to lose the Smash Ball with 0% or with 150%? I just want to know it as a curiosity.
On the other hand, I would like to know how much should the Smash Ball be hit for you to get the power.

Let me point something, it's not about the number of hits. It's about the percentage and it's power.
For example: If you hit it with a metaknight using its sneaks, it won't break in 2~3 hits.
Otherwise, if you hold Ike's B, it'll break in the first strike.
Well, yeah, the strength of the hits depends on it too. But I mean in general, it should take 2 or 3 hits.

Agreed. It depends on the character and which move you used. Example lucas tilt would take longer than ike's.

Yes, if you are Ike or Ganon, or someone like that, you can break it in 2-3 hits with any attack. Even if you are Sonic, if you hit it 2 or 3 times with his back aerial attack, it'll break. Weaker attacks, such as Sonic's forward aerial, take longer to break it.
Just wait for your opponent to chase after it/hit it, then swoop in for the kill.
