I was planning to enter her, actually, but yeah: Slowpoke. Guess I'm in your boat, Breaker. Eheh. I would've done it better if I started earlier, but it's still not an excuse.
But since time is no object, I'm going to keep her <3. Fix a bunch of parts up, and maybe incorporate it into something later <3

Gaaaaah. I forgot the arm panels and the hair ribbons and all the damn zig zag things.

My main focus was on the hair, honestly - although I guess that's what you call trying too hard. I somehow managed to combine bits and pieces of Ai, the other school girl (...Mina?), Konishi, and Joshua... Although I'm having difficulty finding out exactly where Joshua's tuft of hair went. And I could've sworn I had Eiji in there... Hrm...

And that somehow turned into Miku. I don't know, I remember a lot of work with the two school girl's hair, and replacing Eiji's chin.

I slacked off as I moved on, even more so because I rushed it. That's why I just went on a rampage with the fill tool on Ai's skirt and the stockings.

The tie was, as Kanon seems to have figured out, just re-sized manually. Very amateur, I know. It was the last addition with the exception of her megaphone, which is why that too isn't colored correctly. Bleh.

I honestly wasn't introduced to Vocaloids til just last Saturday :D A friend of a friend cosplayed as her with this extremely flash-camera radioactive outfit. So I just based most of the sprite on memory of that and from this video.

edit: Actually wait, she cameo'ed in Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, so she by logic is perfectly aceptable.

I wanted to enter this sprite into the anime character sprite contest. But since it's not an anime character but a video game character i can't.
So I'll leave it here. If you don't know who it is it's Kairi from KH2.

Let's see... The scarf, or tie, whichever it is, seems really rough and... pixelated I guess. The skirt and legs need shading. The head actually looks pretty good though.

... I need to do more sprites. And more comic.
