In each of the games in the halo trilogy, master chief was refered to as John at some point in the game. Now, in halo wars, which takes place before the halo trilogy, there is a sergeant named John Forge at the time when spartans can come in large quantities. Is he possibly a master chief without his helmet on?

Uhuh...Well his rowdy attitude could have angered his superiors seeing how he is described as insubordinate and desided to cut him from the spartan project and maybe give him a mind wipe and then he was assigned to Spirt of fire,
Plus the fact they would be same age acording to the timeline also they have the same name and you didn't actually see John die in the end so the proof that his death makes it so he isn't him not true also In that cutscene he took out the arbiter without the spartan gear or guns and to be honest if you played Halo wars you would know a spartan wouldn't kick his ass so **** you too
if you read the fall of reach, master chief was far away from harvest while forge was fighting there. this proves they are two different people

What if he isn't the master Chief, but his flash-clone that survived and became a bad*** soldier?

Though, I'm not sure if John's clone survived.

oh and about sierra's post. how is that inaccurate? is it not possible to have more than one cyro tube? its called getting moved while ur asleep. lol don't blame bungie for putting a easter egg in reach that would require the marines to actually pull their own weight and move the chief later. X=

poopdick. 343 says that Master Chief is goning to go through some personality changes due to the events of Halo 3. Halo 4 = John's Therapy. He might even talk bitches!

and you don't age in a cryogenic pod because gunnery sergeant Buck was part of the Harvest war on halo wars (not in campaign or skirmish). he was also involved in Reach and Halo 3 ODST and he is still in his 30's maybe and it was 20 years between Reach and Harvest, so you can't age in cryogenic pods, you're just frozen in time until you are thawed out and woken. this isnt part of the discussion butin halo reach on the last mission and youve finished it when you see the part where the pelican goes into the hanger hold the right thumbstick to the right and eventually it will turn and you see mc in his cryo pod sleeping which is historically inacurate but its still pretty cool.
