Ok, i'm gonna atleast try to kill my first elder dragon on mhf2 and i would like to know if these weapons and armors are good enough to kill it or atleast repell it.
weapon: Devil Slicer, Ravenger Blade+
armor: full blangon, upgraded to lv 11, giving me 56 defense each

If these arent good enough, any suggestions?

p.s, Whats affinity and negative affinity mean? just asking

thx in advance guys

Yea, but the Lunastra at the tower is the HR6 lunastra which gives a lot more better stuff.

When I beat my Lunastra's I use Full Kushala and dragon breaker.

When I use this stuff I beat pretty easily

The quest "Overseer of the Ancients" finally showed up and I beat Lunastra in that round. It was the tower location for the second round.

Ok, i managed to make the lunastra flee, but wheres the second round?
It will show up at the same village quest level eventually. Just run another mission and then check back to see if it showed up yet. If not, run another mission and so on.
will it be in the same place, same quest? cause thats what it says on mines
It will be in the same quest you cleared. With damage from the previous fight carried over.

She will appear at the tower the quest is called "overseer of the ancients".
Hey madastoast. My edit in my post above is incorrect? If so, then I won't waste my time on redoing a "clear" mission. Thanks!

I'm not sure. I just repelled Luna last night so I haven't had a chance to get that far yet. All I know is they say keep doing missions and it will eventually show up. Our goal is to eventually kill Luna, not just repel.

Edit: I just did a quick mission and then checked. The same Luna mission came up for me too and it says clear. If I understand correctly, we do that mission again but this time Luna is basically in the same weakened state she was when she fled from us the first time. They say it takes 2 or 3 missions to slay an elder. That way the damage done to Luna each mission keeps accumulating until we finally beat the elder dragon.
