This is the new Monster Hunter story I am writing at the moment. I would like to say I'm very very happy with it,and I hope you will be also.MH:FF also includes brand new monsters,and beast.I'll provide picture refrences at certain times. So without futher talking I present to you Monster Hunter:Final Frontier!
Monster Hunter: The Final Frontier
Chapter 1 Cave of the dead
"What is this!" Rogger shouted into the fog
John walked up to him "What is it?"
"It looks like a stone slab that covers a entrance to a cave!"
"That's odd this one isn't on the map at all."
"You sure your looking at the right one?"
"Yah it's the map of the swamp,and this cave isn't marked."
"Then by goly we discovered something new!"
"Be careful! I have the feel that we should go on there."
"You worry to much John come on!"
Rogger pushed the huge stone slab out of the way,and revealed a large entrance to a cave. It was pitch black,and no light could be seen down there.Rogger pulled out his Iron sword and slowly walked into the cave. Soon followed by John who wielded a Iron Sword. As they started to walk through the cave bones of dead dragons,and other things that once lived. The ground was moist,and slushed as they walked through the mud.They slowly looked around and Roger pulled a stick out of his pack,and used a stone to light it. However it was not enough to push back the darkness as it just seemed to consume them. The air and a ominous blow to it like it was blowing but wasn't. The stench of the dead got stronger the further they went into the cave. After awhile of walking they reached a lake,what seemed to be filled with water,but it didn't smell like water.
"Rogger stop!" John shouted
"What is it?" Rogger asked annoyed
"Point your torch at that water."
"But its just water "
"Do it!"
"Fine..ok HOLY SHIT!"
The lake was not water infacted it was blood fresh blood. It seemed to be endless.Roger looked over at the wall and blood was smeared all around them,and dead hunter bodies laid scattered around them. Arms ripped off,heads ripped from the body,and even the toreso was ripped from to shareds.The smell of the dead got extremely strong now,and they almost suficated as the air blew the smell around. They looked around and realized that they were in a large dome shaped room.On the sealing there was a huge fossil of a unknown wyvern. There was also a huge dragon bones sticking up out of the blood pool.
"Looks like we weren't the first to be here." John said with a since of humor in his voice
"Where the hell?"
"Rogger I have a bad feeling about this! Lets get out of here."
"Hold on we could be onto something here look theres a center platform in the center of that lake with a bridge connecting it."
"I think this is warning that we should leave here."
"Your to chicken come here."
"Ok "
Jogn walked over a piece of paper and it was staned with blood. It read "Don't go further,please if you should find this please don't go!." Rogger and John walked along the path that lead to the center platform.When they arivved at the center platform a hole was dug in the ground with a shining stone in it. Rogger nelt down to pick it up but felt a force around it and it stoped his hand.
"Is this it?" John walked up behind Roger
"What this stone? It seems to have some sort of barrier around it." Roger asked with question.
"I've never seen a stone like that in my life."
"It looks like blood or red liquid is moving around in it "
Out of the darkness revealed a cheata looking monster. It's fur was yellow~ish orange with spots place randomly on its body. It has two extremely long wiskers on both sides of its face.It had skiny but long legs that look like they could be used for jumping. It had black hair sticking up out of fur shaping its spine.It had a long black tail with a touch of dark yellow.Its claws were sharp that as it walked wholes were left in the ground createing a scratching noise.Its fangs were of a wolf short but very sharp. Its last striking feature was its Lime Green eyes that seem to stun you if you look into them.
"Dooo I Loook likkke Immmm Dummb! Yooou cammme bbby choicccce!"
"Wow its true Its smart we'll leave now!"
"Yah we wont ever come back!"
"Thattt isss righht yooou wonnn't."
Ose jumped forward and landed on Rogger then and looked at him.John came up to help Roger by swinging at Ose but Ose glared at him and his body became completely imobile.Ose turned his attention back to Rogger. Then took its back claw and swipe his chest then bit him on the neck,and tossed him next to John. Ose jumped again on Rogger without and effort with its front claw sepearted Roggers legs from the rest of his body.John could do nothing but sit there and watch as Ose ripped apart Rogger from limb to limnb like a blood thristy monster.When Ose was done with Rogger it turned its attention to John and circled around him like a shark stalking its pray. However John was still imobile and couldn't move even a muscle.
Ose walked up to John and got in his face and lifted its claw and held him by the chin. "Lettts nottt bbbe callling nammes." Ose let go of him and pushed him on the ground and smiled with its fangs open."Mmay thhhe paccck feassst onnn yooou!" ..........

This is NOT FAIR!! My internet browser died a week ago, in that time I had that problem, I missed 2 of your chapters(which, while I'm on that topic, must say were very good), Wolfie's finale' a new chapter from Tiggy and one from Breezy. I only just caught up with each of them now.

Few grammatical errors but very engrossing. Seems like some Eragon influence though? I hope not that series went downhill. I can tell yours will just keep getting better.

Chapter 4
" I wanted to but I couldn't bring myself."
5 days later .
I swiped my blade with all my force cutting straight through the Yain Kut-Ku's body. Blood slowly leaked out of its body in a straight line. It just stood in the grass for a few seconds before falling over, and giving one last yelp. I leaned my back up examining my blade which was stained by the blood of the Yain Kut-Ku. It slowly ran down the side of it and dripped down off the blade into the grass. I put the katanna on my back and turned around to examine my wounds. I had a nice slash on my arm and my leg. I had a cut along my waist where its claws had cut through my armor. I felt something awaken inside of me through this event and I learned I was capable of doing this. The Rathain was right, I became a hunter.
3 years later ..
Well let me just say one thing. Ever since I started this whole hunting business it has changed me a lot. Even I'll admit to that. It's been three years since I first started hunting with Dain, Blake, and Jack. I did far better than they had expected me too. I rose through the hunter's ranks faster than any hunter before me had ever done, and well you see that's the thing I DIDN'T want to happen. Now I got everyone sending me false quest, or sending someone to try and get me killed. Nielar put me in charge of the guild while he went away. He was only supposed to be gone for one week, but he never returned. I wonder what happened to him. Me, Dain, Jack, and Blake became extremely popular after the defeat of Yain Gaurga, which I'll have to see that wasn't a easy battle. That's all I can say to this point. Now that I gave you a brief history on the events leading up till now, I wonder how my story will unfold.
I closed my writing journal, and I heard the door open quietly. A voice came from behind me
"Do you realize May" "It's been more than three years since someone has tried to kill you some way. You know like the false quest that put us up against that Gaurga?"
"Do you realize Dian," I said "that if you keep walking in here without me seeing you I'll probably die of a heart attack one of these days and save them the trouble."
He chuckled "Hehe I guess so, you remember that Garuga quest, the one we nearly almost died on. It was given to us die this weird named guy ."
I picked up my Black Ruin Sword and held it in front of my face. "Zalba, yah, I remember that guy, pain in the butt wasn't he? I remember how you jumped in front of the Garuga trying to stop its charge. Then Blake decided to jump onto its back, I don't know what he was thinking."
"Yah, I can't believe we fell for that false information." Dian laughed.
"You realize it was Jack who decided to take that quest right?" I said while putting the sword on my desk, and lifting up a piece of paper that came in with a mission on it looking at it.
"Oh yah, it was him wasn't it."
I put the paper down in with the stack, and looked up. "It doesn't matter anymore, Zalba is dead."
"You know for a lady you can be quiet cruel sometimes."
"Yah, I know." I slid on my Kirin gloves and hopped off my desk, and headed for the door while grabbing my Ruin Sword." Let's go find Blake, and Zack before one of them gets each other killed."
"Yah, let's be off." Dain said dressed in his Lao armor, and his Seiglinde also headed for the door.
I walked outside into the light of the new day. The market and shops were filled with merchants trying to sell their goods, and the like. I didn't really need anything at this moment since I recently acquired this Black Ruin Sword. You know how much money it took me to find the parts for this. A hell of a lot, especially from these merchants. About people trying to kill me was another factor. I didn't need worry much I had Ryuu watching my back. Oh did I forget to mention he is five times bigger now. Only an idiot would try to kill me. Or at least if they did they had some gut.
"What's on your mind?" Ryuu contacted me through my mind "Nothing Ryuu it's just been to quiet lately." "I see well I'm here for you." "Yah, that's good to know, thank you." "Be careful." "I know I try."
I passed by a merchant shop, and it was filled with pots, and pans as well as tea pots and the like. Running it was a 40 year old man with a heavy beard. He had strong muscular legs arms and legs.
"You a tinsmith?" I stopped and asked him.
He arched his eye brow and sniffed "Hardly, I'm a respectable merchant; I simply sell the items the tinsmith's give me. All the smiths do business through me or they don't do any at all. I work for the guild."
"What guild?" I asked him with a hint of anger.
"The Merchant Guild, of course" he said to me like I was a idiot.
Suddenly I felt like seeing how many tea pots I could fit down his mouth, but I managed to keep down my anger. I simply said "I see." I continued to brows his wears, and he watched me like a hawk thinking I was going to steal something, which in fact I didn't even bother to touch anything because if he said anything about "Handling the goods" my sword would be in a place I don't want it to be.
"Thank you for your time."I said politely and bowed.
"Yah whatever.." he said and sniffed. You know how bad I wanted to but I could bring myself to do. All I know is I had my hand gasped around the hilt of my sword.
"Good work team!" Dain said while high fiving Jack.
If it was possible to fall off a couch from laughing, I would have done it countless times while reading this.

Chapter 3 "I already talk them about and they don't mind." He chuckled
The next day, someone came to my door and clapped, around the afternoon. When I opened the door I recognized the fellow immediately. He was the one who'd been running the game the day before and told me not to come – with a dagger held against my neck for added emphasis.
"May I come in?" he said in a polite voice. I thought about it and since I was the curious type I let him in. "Thank you my name is Nielar." "Please sit down I'm May Reinheart, would you like a drink?" "No thank you mi'lday I don't expect to be staying long."
I showed him to a seat and sat down on the couch. I picked up Ryuu with both hands and sat him in my lap, and petted his back. Nielar arched his eyebrow but didn't say anything.
"What can I do for you then?" I asked
"It has come to my attention," he said "that I was.perhaps, in the wrong when I faulted you for the events of yesterday."
This was, to say the least, unprecedented. This was the very last thing I expected him to say. If anything I thought he just wanted to kill me know and get me out of the picture. I never knew I would just come to apologize. I mean I was 16 years old you know how adults get along with us.
"It's very kind of you to say, my lord," I managed to say. He brushed it off "I will also add that I liked the way you handled yourself."
He did? I didn't. What was going on here?
"What am I'm getting at," he continued "is that I could use someone like you, if you have a mind of working for me. I understand that you don't have a job at the moments, and you need food for you and you're "Rathalos". Your father recently died and you were forced to sell your tavern – "He finished with a shrug.
There were several thousands of questions wanted to ask him, starting with, "How did you find out so much about me and why do you care?" But I didn't know how to go about asking them, so I said "With all respect, my lord, I can't see how I can do anything for you."
He shrugged again "For one thing, preventing the problems we had last night. Also I could use another hunter for a group of mine, and collecting debt from people. That sort of thing. You see I need help with running the guild here. I usually have four people helping me but one of them got into an "accident" and now I'm shorthanded."
Something about the way he said "accident" struck me strange, but I didn't take any time to think about what I meant. "Again with all respect my lord what can I do to help I've got no experience in this type of thing ever." "I'm convinced that won't be a problem," he said "we have a friend in common, and she assured me that you'd be able to handle this kind of thing. As so happens I owe her a favor or two, and she asked me to consider taking you on."
"Are you sure your assistance won't mind, working with a total new person at this?"
"I already talk them about and they don't mind." He chuckled .
Meanwhile .. In the volcano region.
Blake swung his Dragon Jaw Great sword at the Gravious's leg. It hit the Gravious's rock like shell and snapped in half. "SHIT!" Blake yelled. The Gravious looked around at every place besides where Blake was standing. Blake slowly stepped back while looking up at the Gravious making sure it didn't see him. Then it suddenly shifted its eyes down to him, and stared at him. "Nice, wyvern good boy .umm I'm sorry ok friends?" The Gravious shot a fire beam straight ahead, but Blake dodged and watched the beam incinerate the wall. "Guys a little help over here Blake shouted over to two other hunters who were just standing around talking.
"So how's your day been Jack?" one of them said.
"Not bad Dain not at all I mean I can't wait till we go back to the guild later."
"GUYS HELP!" Blake ran in the background with a Gravious chasing him.
"So you decide if you are going to upgrade your sword yet Jack?"
"Nah, It very hard to decided I don't know which one to go for."
"GUYS DAMNIT!" Blake dodged a fire beam barely missing him.
"What's the news on the new kid?"
"I'm not sure really, I bet she's a total amateur." They both laughed
"GUYS YOU STOP TALKING AND HELP ME OUT!" Blake said hiding behind a explosive rock waiting for the Gravious to charge again.
"So anyways I guess we are going to need to train this one too?"
"Appears that way, but hey look on the bright side, it's a girl." Dain laughed.
"You don't get any ideas ok."
"Can't promise you that .."
I huge explosion in the back ground made them both jump, and they both turned around and the Gravious feel to the floor with its head blown off. Blake walked up to both of them with an angry face. Jack turned to Dain and they just laughed. "Good work team!" Dain said while high fiving Jack.
