Not guns, simply fields of flak. The fields cause your health to go down. Then, when the Nazi planes come in, you get killed easily.

Because of this, you must fly around all dark or light green patches on the ground. After awhile, you learn where the fields are located, and you can easily avoid them.

Playing the mission on normal is pretty frustrating. Those damn anti-air guns or whatever they are just killing my health.

Watch out for fields of crops, they will cause your life to go down, and that isn't good, especially if you are about to be attacked by incoming German planes.

    If this is the time where you are in the jet blowing things up...when flying openly, stay on course and head directly to objective points to not run out of fuel. While you are in "gunner mode" just aim at the planes and keep shooting, you really shouldn't have to worry about ammo at that point either.

Be as efficient as possible. Head to the nearest objective and remain on course, don't simply fly around.
