Taking a class in photography, so as level one I'm limited to using a film camera only. Most of my black and white films I have yet to show. But some are colour pictures ive digitalized and some are just scanned. Forgive the lack of good quality, as I am currently at work posting htis up by taking the images I've uploaded on from facebook. The original is much better. Ive got more stuff but without a digital camera I can't put it all up there.
Self portrait My new car, Decided to get a shot of it. B&W shots, tons more from where this came from, but had to scan and was a bitch to do so. Brothers Car.
Friend breakdance stall My friend posing during sunset on a train bridge. Loved this outcome Didn't realize her hair was in bad position. Thats the drawback of having a non digital camera

I`m shooting with a 5dmk2, so I bumped iso up to 1600. But it easily wipes out grain, so I`m glad for that. I live in Canada, and in particular a Prairie province, and luckily we see these every so often. There was one time last year when there was a solar flare that was so powerful, Aurora lights could be seen in northern parts of america as well.

God damn those are some pretty *bleep*ing breathtaking photos. Where exactly did you catch those auroras? I'm from NY and there is no hope at all. That, and when I shoot at night with my D3000 the grain is like 'wtf'.

Took these last night during my busy life. Got quite a surprise when CNN contacted me this morning to request use of my photos. I was quite excited to say the least.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, and ecto, although I didn't see your message, I did just that, I'm much more invested in editing my final products now. Keep checking my flickr, got much more coming.

Quality stuff here. Have you considered going into editing at all? What you have is perfect quality images that, with the help of a small touch of editing, will most definitely give you top notch material.

I love the photos you posted at the beginning of the thread. Something about film just cant be replicated in digital.
