Link to download If it's anything like previous firmwares, you'll need the FW 5.00 update file. You can find that here. You could also use network update. Probably.
Remember the states plugin? Lets you save savestates? Well it's back for CFW5.00M33. PSP States plugin
Enjoy! M33-3 out. This allows us to bypass the PS Store firmware check. Enjoy!
Receiving an 'insufficient space' message on a stick that has space? This was released to fix 8gb and 16gb sticks. It was a patch in 5.01, this installs it in 5.00 M33.

I use this one, but any emulator you can find by searching here should be good. I'm not sure how great mine is, comparatively, but it works. If you find a better, go for it The ones with the most downloads are usually the best.

Yeah, I know, I have the programme to change them into EBOOT files. Can you point me to a GBA emu?

It can run a GBA emulator, but PSX games have to be in the format Eboot.pbp, not ISO.

Right. Can 5.00 M33-3 run PSX ISOs? And a GBA emulator for that matter?

5.00 M33-3. Usually the newest firmware is the best to have. 5.00 introduced the Playstation Store to the PSP, which is nice because they removed the PC version for some reason. So if you don't have a PS3 and want PS Store access, you need 5.00.

It worked fine, but then instead of deleting one folder, I deleted everything, sort of reformatting it without the reformatting bit. But you've helped me via PM, so I should be okay.
Is the 5.00 release any good? What's your favourite CFW?

What do you mean fix it? It's my understanding that it runs perfectly as a magic stick.

Yeah, I had those. But now I'm not going to risk it again, because I can't unbrick again.
How do you fix a magic memory stick after deleting all the files from it?
