I've been playing my Super Mario Galaxy game for the Wii recently and after getting a glimpse of Rosalina, she really stood out to me. I noticed that she looks different from Peach in many ways. She has her silver crown, her long but elegant green dress, her yellow pendant, her green eyes, her wand, and her faded blond hair, while Peach has her gold crown, her blue eyes, her poofy pink dress, her blue pendant, and her vibrant blond hair. If you were to compare them such as I did I wouldn't be surprised if you also found these difference but you may also find that they have some similarities as well. There overall facial structures are similar and based on those they look a lot alike. Rosalina may even have been created based off of Peach herself.

But anyways, to my real point of posting this thread, I was thinking, wondering, if you had to chose, which of the two is your favorite? Whom would you want to save? You cannot save both though, only one! What I mean by this is, if there were to be another game based off Mario saving someone, like he's saved Peach in all the previous games, would you want him to save Rosalina this time or Peach again? Discuss.
I'm also going to make this thread even more fun by posting up a poll of the two characters and whom ever, out of the two, can reach 50 (may vary with activity) votes first will win and then officially we'll know who, the majority of the members in this forum, like Princess Peach or Rosalina. The poll will begin at the bottom of this post, if you want you may post the poll within your own posts to help out the thread overall, whatever works for you is fine, I will be here frequent to keep close eye on the poll and posting it anyways. =D

So to start this discussion off I'll share my views to this question. I've been used to seeing Princess Peach throughout almost all the games so much that the appearance of another character just makes this game, Super Mario Galaxy, feel more fresh and original to the other Super Mario games in the series. Not only is Rosalina another character but she's a very beautiful one and also smart and good-spirited to heart. So overall there isn't much else you could ask in a new character and because of this, Rosalina gets my vote. Sorry Peach, I think she marks the starting of the new! ^__^

Peach is dumb, I don't even think she's getting captured, I think she likes Bowser so she keeps trying to get with him, but she always gets caught and since Bowser isn't really into her, he tells his KoopaTroopas keep her captive, although he should just kick her out of his castle.
Also she doesn't just kiss Mario, but she also kisses Luigi, wtf?

Hi. I vote Rosalina! Sorry Peach fans, I like Peach too though. Rosalina is extremely beautiful and elegant. She is very smart too. She also has powers and if that Bowser tried to kidnap her, KABAM! No one messes with Rosalina! You saw that force field bubble thing that appeared if you got to near her on Mario Galaxy wii!!!(first one.) She is kindhearted and sweet. You saw how much she cared for the Lumas, and that book she wrote at the end of the game made me cry. How sweet! I would rescue her from Bowser any day! If she needed it of course! :-)
Peach though, although she looks sweet and kind of the classic 'princess', she is all girly and her voice is all...weird. You know, at the beginning of nearly every Marion game: 'Heeeelllp meee Maarrrriiioooooooooo!' Sheesh woman, just kick him in the place it hurts!!! She gets kidnapped every like, FIVE SECONDS! Not my Rosalina! Sorry all Peach fans, but I pick Rosalina! By the way, Roslina is a nicer name. It means orbit in one language. How beautiful. Who'd want to be called 'Peach'? Hmm... It isn't a bad name though, as all ice age Dawn of the dinosaurs will know.
Rosalina has that mysterious, otherworldly vibe about her. That's pretty intense. Peach's personality can be attributed to that of a high school cheerleader who ate three bowls of stupid for breakfast with a slice of annoyance. I think it's pretty clear.

Ahh that's just sick, damn, lol even though it's not that surprising, I always new Bowser was a horny overgrown turtle. I can also remember that Peach was forced into a marriage with Bowser, if I remember correctly, in the Sunshine game or was this just another rumor that I'm getting mixed up in my head? Also, as a result of Bowser has a son? Bowser Jr. Lol what has the gaming world come to. I honestly don't think that Peach could be his mother, there's just no way!
Lol then again they did spin lots of times together as Bowser catches her in so many of the games for long periods of time. Forced marriage, baby Bowsers, lol what's next? As we have really no proof and because Bowser Jr., as said previously in this thread, figures at the end of the game that Peach isn't his mother, then who is? Lol that's the question, who is Bowser Jr's mother? And will we ever find out?
I actually have that game, Darkness1000, even though I haven't ever played it before. And just as I typed above, I guess we can definitely tell that Donkey Kong and Bowser have a lot in common. But what is with all this wanting for Princess Peach, why can't anyone just leave her be for awhile. Dang, when will she learn to just buy some *bleep*ing pepper spray, maybe just maybe, if she doesn't spray herself in the face on accident, she may be able to avoid being captured again. But just maybe lol. =D

thats a lot of double posts... Peach ftw, Rosalina is cheap with her magic. I use peach in brawl and she kicks a$$. So... I give one to peach.
