The thing I love about Melee that Brawl just doesn't have is speed and sound effects. Smacking people around on Brawl just isn't as satisfying as it is on Melee. Half the reason I play Super Smash Brothers is because of the sound effects.

Brawl Cons:
Take out a few chars we know and love
Subspace gets REALLY boring after a while
Online is laggy
Wayyy too floaty and slower paced
Graphics haven't improved THAT much.

Melee Pros:
Its faster paced and more technical
Still looks pretty good for being a GC game
It wasn't super easy like brawl...

I liked Melee better cuz it was so much faster, more exciting, and its a classic! Melee is like, Brawl's father. I also like melee better because most of it's music doesnt annoy the crap out of me. And because they nerfed Marth. Brawl is MUCHH too floaty. I hate it when your enemy is at 200 and won't die from Marth's fsmash and gets back to pull a lucky shot and kill you. >.< I think Brawl is just alittle too flashy. Although I do like the many new characters that they've added :]
