Since I started this game I was so impatient to know something about Vergil and if a connection will be revealed... but everything was ignored. Damn Kobayashi... Capcom bring back the original director and producer Hideki Kamiya (director) Shinji Mikami (executive producer)
Sooo... What with the arm? What with Vergil? Trusting Nero with Yamato... ? Then who is the blue spirit demon?

im pretty sure that nero is a clone from virgils cells it makes way more sence then anything of the other stuff sparda may have a brother cusin but its way 2 stupid sounding 2 make nero dantes cusin or nefew and im pretty sure he is a clone from vergils cells like i said witch also means that nero would be vergils vessel for re incarnation

This is just my theory. I believe Nero is Vergil's son. Vergil may have planned to fail against Mundus in DMC3 and needed someone to carry his legacy. But how he was raised was out of Vergil's control. This may explain why Nero's Devil Trigger only reacts after obtaining Yamato, the sword given specifically to Vergil by Sparda. Dante also refers to Nero as family proving his relation and Nero being part devil. He is not human! Dante also knew about Nero before his Devil Arm was active in the beginning of the game. That would be why he was just toying with Nero. Again this is just what I believe. Responding to tell me I am wrong is pointless.

if anybody remembers when nero's devil trigger activated, he talked about making a deal with a demon to save kyrie so that could explain how he got the arm, the demon maybe being vergil before/after his defeat in hell, arm could have been a part of his power or soul and might explain how he has blood of sparda coursing through him

"but when kyrie was injured but demons nero's arm changed that and a voice appeared in his head" That phrase, while I think i understand what you are trying to convey, makes no sense grammatically. Also, you are saying that nero is sparda's nephew? If that was the case, he wouldnt be a descendant of sparda like the game says
i jus finished dmc 4 again this morn and at the very end when nero fights the savior for the final time he states i always wondered why god made my arm like this it was for this purposeso obviously he was born that way it just didnt manifest like that until the attack on kyrie... its simple he is vergils son thats why dante let him kep yamato if he was dante son he wldve let him have rebellion aint that fathers do give their kids sumthin of theirs vergil is dead thats how they make the armors angelos or whatever but his spirit resides n the yamato thats how nero is able to dt!!! THANKS COME AGAIN....

Isn't it possible for sparda to have an *unmentioned before* brother or sister that could have produced nero considern they would be the same blood of sparda, therefor nero being a descendent of sparda?

Hi everyone, so I was reading all post and responses in lots and lots forums, and I can agree in the fact that Nero can’t be son of Virgil (due to timeline making no sense), neither his reincarnation so I came to this conclusion in which they make Nero a kind of experiment of the Order. See if this makes any sense, if not, well it’ll be just another opinion and that’s it. I was thinking, have you ever noticed that everyone in the Order is surprised by the Devil Arm of Nero except Sanctus? This takes me to believe that Nero is a hidden experiment of Sanctus (in a Top-Secret Level not even Agnus (his mad scientist) would know about it) This happens in and scenario in which a Nelo Angelo comes injured to Fortuna and in his last moments he is captured by Sanctus where he takes an orphan kid (Nero) and tries to fusion the kid with the soul or blood of the descendant of Sparda (in the time where The Savior was being constructed and in the acknowledge that he needed the power of a very powerful demon (aka Dante or Vergil), after he makes the “ritual” he handles what it’s left from Nelo Angelo (maybe Yamato included) to Agnus so he can experiment with it, giving “birth” to the Bianco/Alto Angelos Obviously this would have been a perfect plan if Nero wouldn’t have fell in love w/ Kyrie, and if Sanctus had raised Nero by himself and not giving him to Credo, and handling Nero to Credo has it’s reason, cause this way Sanctus would see the evolution of Nero, taking in count that Credo is an important member of the Order and has direct contact w/ Sanctus. After the “seed” of Nelo Angelo/Virgil was in the interior of Nero, Sanctus would only wait and see his experiment grow, so this is where Sanctus can’t be near Nero why? a)Cause of the “allergy” Nero expresses to the cult of the Order. b)Making Nero his favorite would wake up some expectations in the Order and Nero would be in the center of the storm so, what Sanctus was trying to hide would now be a discovered sooner or later. So in the scene of Mission 07 in which Agnus arrives yelling at Credo cause of the demonic powers of Nero, Sanctus seems so calmed down, it’s because he’s maybe thinking “It’s ready” so he asks Credo to bring back Nero and Yamato (making the resurrection of Yamato the “sign” Sanctus was waiting for, to see the fruits of his experiment time before). That’s why he is SO SURE Nero has the blood of Sparda, cause he “made” him. If you see carefully he doesn’t say he is a descendant of Sparda he only says he has inherited his power (maybe by the ritual he made with Nero while he was younger) and he has the blood of Sparda. And obviously Nero quotes a lot Virgil because a part of him is living within Nero, so as the other theories dictate, that’s why he could resurrect Yamato, that’s why we can see lots of similitudes or even say that the DT of Nero is the Vergil’s DT or Nelo Angelo. Well that’s my opinion see if it’s a mess and I have lot of imagination, or maybe it has congruence. The last word if given by you.

I see your point. No it's not entirely impossible but why stop at that hell he could have fathered over 1,000 children you know ,Sparda being around for over 2,000 years.It would make the story of Devil May Cry tidiest and redundant.Having too many Sparta offspring running around there just wouldn't be any point to the DMC series.Now you see it's better to go by what has been established. I go by the devil may cry games, novels, anime and manga. Sparda being clearly into human women don't know where you got that women thing from, Eva ,Dante's and ,Vergil's mother is just one woman. And that blood line of Sparda becoming thinner over centuries and still having great demonic powers over many generations that must be a joke right.Sparda is a devil and ,Dante and ,Vergil are half devils and ,Nero is less than half devil witch is why he can't change in to a full devil like ,Dante and ,Veril can. Nero's devil bringer is just how much of a devil he is and DMC4 should have been call Nero awakening.Again Nelo Angelo is nothing more than a ghost in shell powered by Mundus. Vergil is no more sorry. The Order of the swords used it broken pieces of Nelo Angelo witch still had demonic power and used it for their own means. Sparda never tried to be with any women because human have such short lives compared to demon life span being over 2,000 years an all. But when he met Eva in modern times that carries the same fire as he once did. There are old Capcom picture of an elderly man Sparda with his servant and young wife Eva and 2 infant twin sons.I know no one asked for Nero but he here now, vergil offspring check out the Dmc4 novel 1&2.
