It really is. The presentation is alright, and you can tell they tried to add features - you can play music off your memory stick. But the visuals, car models aren't very good, and the physics are just weird.
And I'll show you.
These are some of the car models...As you can see, they aren't really terrible, but they're not good and the PSP can do a lot better.

Then, in game, it just gets worse. Then first thing you notice in your first race is that the game looks blurry, the entire game. Then, you'll notice that it lags. Then you'll notice how hard it is to simple keep the car in a straight line, and that you can't look backwards, nor can you change the view.

A bonus is the soundtrack. As well as your own tracks, the songs are instantly recognizable from the full game...but then, they were mostly terrible anyway.

The sad thing is that people will buy this because they think it's worth it, but it's just a ripoff.

This forum is for the PSP version, which is a pile of dog crap.

i played it on the PS2 the graphics are awesome and i love the racing it doesn't look blury or anything the only bad thing is that when you get damage it only scratches the car and makes it smoke no dents or anything but its all well and good the game all in all is a 9/10 in my opinion

The graphics are not bad, but it's not what the PSP is capable of. The PSP can do waaay better. It's not even EA's max. NFS Carbon OTC had some awesome graphics. ProStreet just blew it.

Kinda, yeah. Well, it's more like Gran Turismo 3 handling rather than NFS handling. I loved GT3 when I played it at a friend's place, so I like that kinda handling. And also, that's only if you don't crash your car.

Getting damage heavily affects handling.
