I was just wondering if anyone else read these. There are over 20 of the books and are genuinely funny.

Probably not Reason. The earlier books in the series are more straight parody than what the later novels turned into. They're probably worth reading anyway, if you're a fan of Sir Pterry.

Also, the books dealing with the watch (Guards! Guards!, Men at Arms, Feet of Clay, Jingo, The Fifth Elephant, Night Watch and Thud!) are better when read in the order they were published, which is the order I posted them there.

Finished Unseen Academicals a while a go and loved it.

Any recommendations on which is a good book to read next, is it a good idea to just start at the first in the Discworld series?

Chichester Players will be presenting the Stephen Briggs adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Night Watch in spring 2013. Auditions will be held at 7.30 pm on 20 and 21 November 2012, in St John's Church, St John's Street, Chichester.

All are welcome.

Finally finished Making Money on Sunday...Took me a bit longer than it should have done to be honest...Didn't think it was as good as Going Postal but maybe that's just because it wasn't the new original idea that it was first time round...Still a decent book though...Need a bit of a break from the Discworld for a while though now I think...

Well, they're all based around the...bureaucratic side of Ankh Morpork? To be honest, I don't think plots have ever been Terry's highest point

Just finished reading Wintersmith...Another great book to be honest...I don't know how he comes coming up with so much great material after 25 years...It's truly mind-blowing...Got Making Money next...Loved Going Postal so looking forward to that
