I beat the game today with only the ruby that you get at the end, and I saw the "mansion" at the end. Rank H is a rather small green tent with a window. It is situated upon a hill, because that's where the foundation is, OK. So there is a Rank H, and the guide was wrong. If you don't believe me, play through the game yourself, and get below 5,000,000G.

Yeah, you're right. I've been around for quite a long time, since last year in June, and find it hard to believe that I have not posted in this thread yet.

When you follow the butler all of the way to the end of the hallway to the left right when you walk through the door. There should be a door. If it isn't locked, go inside, if it is tell me and I will tell you how to unlock it. But once inside go all of the way to the right and then go south to the end of the wall. Use the GBA Horror(press X) and focuse it on the mousehole near you on the wall. Click A. Exit the GBA Horror(press either X or B) and there will be a mist coming out. You might have to move around a little but it should suck you up. You will enter a room with a lot of treasure in it. Just go clear that room by catching all of the ghost in it. From what I remember the Fire Element is in that room. Just get the element after clearing the room. Exit the room through the mouse hole that you came through(use the GBA horror trick). Then go back out into the hall and start sucking up the torches and two of the torches in the hall won't go away and a little flaming ghost will pop out. Suck him up and you now have fire in you Polterguest 3000. Press L to release fire. When using the elements(in this case, fire) the controls are the exact same as when sucking except you press L. Go light the candles of the Butler. He will run off into his room. To get to it, just go into the room that you had to go to before going into the treasure room. If memory serves correctly, this is how you do it.
edit-messed up on a few parts.
Fire Element-To get the fire element, go to the bathroom. There will be a Toad. He will stop crying after you talk to him. Retrieve the Key. Go to the fortune tellers room that the key unlocks. Go straight to the room on the right. Accomplish what is in there to get the fire element. Disregard everything I said about getting the fire element up there. But everything else is the same.
Please tell me if I am correct about it. I haven't been playing it much lately after beating it so many times it kind of got a little old. But if it is incorrect, I will look around and try to find the right answer.

Hi, I bought Luigi's Mansion for my 8 year old daughter and I have become hooked! I am usually a lousy videogame player. But I have managed to conquer some of the boss ghosts, such as the baby for example. So far, I am at the Ballroom on the first floor and I CANNOT clear that room or the room behind it (with the secret wall...by the way, I let all the Boos loose) and I CANNOT clear the bathroom on the first floor either. I managed to suck up all the ghosts in both of these places but when I check the map, these areas are still blue (not cleared). In the hallway I encounter Shivers the butler but I can't suck him up...why? Is it because I haven't lit his candles? I do not have any of the elements yet. How can I get them...especially the fire element.
Thanks for your time,
Anita

You get your first after Madame Clairvona's(something like that)Room, go to the room on the right. You will recieve the fire element emblem. You will need it to get out of the room too so it helps you learn how to use it. I can't quite remember the water element emblem, but to get the Ice emblem, there will be a room on the second floor, you can't get to it though until you have cleared area 2, when you get there you will see a bowl of ice. After doing something(can't remember, its been a while if you couldn't tell) and a chest with the Ice Element Emblem is now yours. There are a lot better explanations in the faqs though.

Where and how do you get the elements in this game. I have heard about them and I guess that I was wondering where, and how do you get them.

Well, if you ever need any help on this game, there are plenty of people that can help you out here, just post your problem in a new thread, or if there is already a thread like it, read over it and if it still can't help you, then post a reply in that thread of your question.

Wow, only 15 bucks. Well, I guess that is fair considering your circumstance. Well, to tell you the truth, I got this game yesterday. I was bored so I went out looking for a good game. A few people mentioned this game and I looked into it. I went ahead and bought it.

Well, I sold it for only 15 dollars. I should have gotten it for maybe a little bit more, but I knew the owner and he usually gives me discounts on used games, guns, jewelry, and all of the other items at his shop. By the way, have you beaten the game yet?

Haha, you sold your game? How much did you sell it for anyway? I actually have never sold one of my games, I have kept all of my games since I bought them.

Wow, I got to try that. Sounds pretty cool,......too bad I got bored with it and sold my game to a pawn shop. When I went back there, someone already bought it so I guess I am out of luck.
