Actually, I've changed my mind. My favorite item would have to be the Slow Shroom Orb because I find it to be one of the most useful orbs in the game.

My favorite is Kamek. Fantastic during a long game and when others are using orbs like crazy. I've lost count of how many times this orb has helped me. Flutter is awesome as well.

I love the yellow orbs. (Orbs you place on spaces and they affect people that land on the space)
Favorite Green Orb: Warp Pipe or Flutter.
Favorite Yellow Orb: Piranha Plant.
Favorite Red Orb: I'm not sure.
