My mate says there will be a Halo 4, i disagree, there is plenty of evidence to show there wont be:
1. it says FINISH THE FIGHT 2. on back it says: THE STUNNING CONCLUSION TO THE HALO TRILOGY...
anyone know if there will be another halo?

This thread was created in 2007, that's why they were saying there was no Halo 4. At Holiday 2012 (November 6th, 2012), Halo 4 will be released. This thread should be closed since the news is relatively old pertaining to the OP's post.

Have never played this Game so don't know about it..mine friends are really a bigger fan of this game so they always told me about this game otherwise I am not so much interested in playing this game..
Hey, um im bord shizless so i just wanted to tell you halo fans theres is going to be a halo 4, the story is: bungie was in the making of "halo 4" they wrote the script and even made some new model designs, then activison came along and 9 months passed then bungie made a 10 million dollar contract with them, only with one miner flaw, that any game bungie makes it will be multi-platform, so on the 360 and the ps3, so bungie wanted there last game to explain everything, (in my cases not a lot of things) and so they did reach, but wat about the halo 4 script, they gave/sold the script to 343 industries, and bungie said "make it so" knowing that the halo story would continue and that it will be only on the xbox. Trojy they wouldn't have starved to death. Take for example the first halo game took place in four days. If you read the book right after that MC hijacks a covenant ship and goes to pick up his Spartans who are still alive! And he picks one up in a Cyro tube from the UNSC Piller of Autumn Since it was only four days even thought the covenant glassed about 98% of the planet they probably wouldn't starve to death since they were held up in a Marine base.

And Halo 3 ODST takes place after the Covenant ship jumps into Slipspace out of New Mambassa. It's sad i know all this and i don't have a 360 and I'am not a member of any other fourmes. but that's my problem not yours.

Halo 3: ODST to be exact, and its already out, and i also read about a Halo: Reach game too, but i'm not sure what exactly the plot would be in that one, although i read that they're making a totally new game engine for it

I just want to say that I think John heads for Reach, finding his lost Spartans on the glassed planet of Reach. Then there is "how could they survive" They eat all the cans of food and almost starve to death before John gets there in his crashed ship with Cortana. Then there is "how did they survive survive the Covenant" So they hid in the sewer or cave, then Earth tracks their beacon and they're all rescued but theres a twist. Though Master Chief only go's and come back but he has to fight the turned crazy humans and soliders because they were kept in a dark place for years and years and death of others made them turn crazy, Master Chief and his slightly depressed Spartan's made to kill the survivors and escape the planet after it self destructing because some humans armed a bomb or downed ship's engine, then BOOM, they escape and then the end or it could be something completely different and no doubt the planet in halo 3 Legendary ending it looked like reach.
