*bleep* ME! Gig on Saturday - Shitting self, I hate my band's vocalist I told him to cancel that gig nearly a month ago because we weren't ready with our new material and we still haven't practiced with our new bassist so it sucks! We're using our old bassist (Metallica Rocks) for our set on Saturday because he knows all our stuff, God, why can't people do what they're told!?

Also, I have just finished editing the rough version of the cover of Not Promised Tomorrow (Stuck Mojo) so we have at least one thing done, all I need to add to it is vocals and I'm not adding the gay sounding vocals the vocalist did a month ago, they sound so lame. Gotta get a proper heavy metal sound from this. Drums recorded well considering I had to turn up the volume lots after recording the sounds.

Still, that's the update for now. I hate this shit.

yeah, wooo, i got told about this gig about 8 hours ago, mintage. I've been all like arrrgh, must partice, must remember stuff i forgot, must book practice room! buhhh! and my head's about to fall off.

But on the bright side this will be my first decent gig (if it all goes according to plan) the rest were weither at school or in some dodgy pub where theres was me and a guitarist and we had to find a drummer on the spot!

I can't say much but...

I played an open mic tonight and did pretty well if you ask me. I sorta got into a real jazz band based at a college (asked by the music professor himself). I just hope I can play the material and won't find it boring..

we're performing Zombie by the cranberries at every assembly, School function. that song is possibly one of the shittest songs on the earth. i have to play guitar. it is so freaking boring.
