	Speaking of BKPS I'm gonna put a Black Dog in the bridge and an Emerald in the neck of my explorer. You should consider BKPS that aren't in the contemporary line as well. -------------------

	ejaculadhesive, my Schecter (which I play the most) is a half inch longer so the scale length seems the same to me. Defection. What do you mean by not in their contemporary line? 	like the pickup HOTness... so instead of thinking of just warpigs/cold sweat/miracle men, also consider mules, black dogs, vhIIs etc. I would love to try a bareknuckle p90 personally.

	Hahah yeah I just went to the site and realized what he was talking about it. But I went and looked at everything else before I got to those and I'm kinda liking the Black Dogs. But I'm still not sure if I'm gonna buy them. Calibrated sets are between $270 & $300 USD depending on if I got them covered or not. I'll have to see how much my next paycheck is. 	don't forget to subtract the included british gst in the price of pickups. i think it's like 10%? you can try the axepalace.com for a US bareknuckle dealer too... although i don't know if its cheaper. (maybe shipping)

	I would not recommend Axe Palace at all. Ordered a white, open Aftermath bridge for my Les Paul and it ended badly. Waited two months for it to arrive, never does. Contact them for some help, they say they'll ship out a replacement ASAP. Three weeks later, still no pickup. Getting a hold of them required several e-mails, etc. Never did get my pickup, either. Had to ask for a refund eventually. By them straight form BKPS, in my opinion. I've heard of guys that have had no problem with Axe Palace, but my experience was terrible enough to never be able to recommend them when an alternative is available. 	Yeah I after checking it out and doing some (half-assed) math, I think it'll actually be just slightly more expensive to order from them anyways. It was between $280 & $320 for uncovered/covered pickups and I don't know if that includes their shipping prices or not. If it does include shipping, it'll only be about $10 cheaper or so. 	My thought process went from "he got a custom!" to "oh, he got an Agile" in roughly 3 seconds flat. Agiles are nice, but I have a hard time classifying them with every other "custom" guitar manufacturer. Edit: Nov 10, 12 12:30pm -------------------

	Hahah yeah, unfortunately I don't have the money for a full on custom at the moment but I was needing something new. It's one of their "semi-custom" models which is why I tagged you and Simon in the last post. Specs: Mahogany body Neck-thru Maple fretboard 25"-27" scale Cepheus Passive pups Side fret markers It's not as custom as I would've liked but it ended up being cheaper than if I had bought one of the "stock" models. In either case, I'm definitely glad I bought it. The last 7 string I bought was nice but the low B is sort of muddy especially without amp. Acoustically, it sounds so much better than my Ibanez. I wasn't sure how the pickups would sound but they sound a lot better than I thought. They're so much more responsive and clear than whatever shitty stock ones came in my Ibanez. ------------------- SoundCloud
