Metal sticks? *bleep* that. I'd rather replace a lot of wooden sticks than a lot of cymbals man. Be *bleep*ing careful with them.

That's right.

MR: I won't use them VERY much on my kit. I'd rather have 240 wooden sticks than buying cymbals for 240,000 I'll use them when I'm out marching (wooden sticks always breaks on may 17th. Or I'll lose them. )

So I took off the low C string on my cello guitar, and put it in the highest position on my five string bass, after having moved the original E, A, D, and G strings down a slot. So now I have a five string tuned to E-A-D-G-C. Sounds pretty nice, but the high C has a bit too much tension. May swap out for the G string from the same cello guitar to see if that solves the issue. Or if I really like it I'll buy a pack of strings meant for this tuning. So far it sounds sweet though.

I might not make the full switch though, as I want to keep the low B on this until I get my dream five string...
