	That's why it's the GAS thread! LOL! Previous thread. For those who do not know, GAS stands for Gear Acquisiton Syndrome and in this thread we will talk about a piece of gear, equipment or instrument that we yearn for yet cannot have. Let me start off with this: I just tried the Orange Tiny Terror again into an Orange 2x12. Damn, so harmonically rich and britishy. Something boosting it upfront (Tubescreamer, BBE etc.) would really get it workin and tight as shit. I need to crank it though... I did for like 5 seconds and I must say, the Orange really handled the bottom end well. Also, I don't remember it being that heavy lol, it was like maybe 5kg. Nothing compared to the big Marshalls or Engls (@_@) but still, yeah beans. Nonetheless, I still love Orange woots. Now, go. This message was edited by FortePenance on Jul 10 2008.

	Pick a better title Also, you've made me want an Orange amp. But I'm also gassing for that Jackson Kelly. The guy who's buying my pedal is going to have the money on Monday or Tuesday and then hopefully I can get that Kelly.

	Title is win. As soon as I get service I'll post pics of le new acoustic. I'm getting ready to move so apparently my camera cables are packed, and I can only take phone pics. For the sake of GASSIN, I want some TV Jones Powertrons slapped in my Ibby. Or maybe I'll just get my Gretsch fixed up, because I was trying to dial in some settings on my Crate today to play some br00talz, and it actually sounded really heavy and really rich, and I kind of like the sound. I guess I'll just need to work the volume knob quick as shit, right? Or get a volume pedal or summin'.

	What happened to your Gretsch arc? Also, you should check out the Filter/Powertrons on Guitarfetish's website. Cheap, and i've heard decent reviews. Anyway, when I tried the Tiny Terror, I didn't get an as saturated sound as Rob Chappers in the vid below, but still. He was using an MXR boost anyway and I think he's tuned to C or something as well. He was in the Rockerverb video.

	Truss rod and the bridge are janked beyond belief. I'm actually GASSIN to fix that too, haha. I'm finally realizing that I can get a lot of the sounds I do want out of my Gretsch, plus it's such a lovely guitar, I'd hate to just use it as a practice guitar. I'm thinking of getting a Bigsby for it sometime this fall and then taking it in and having someone redo the whole thing. Switch out the electronics, do a complete set-up -- the works. I'd like to trick out my Ibanez a little, but I think I should just take it one thing at a time. There's not really much I'm into anymore, because I'm actually learning to play moosics! gasp I'd still like to build a tricked out pedal board to indulge in my inner-Omar, but what can you do? I'm really content with my guitar collection as of now. I might look into modding my Classic 50, but even that's a nice little toy as is. And my Crate actually has a very, very nice sound if it would stop shorting out. I'm trying to find the footswitch for it, but the amp's almost as old as me. You're kind of making me want an Orange again though. Damns you

	I've actually got serious GAS for an Orange Tiny Terror and a 2x12 as well. Damn you Forte. Orange has become my favourite colour as well for some reason. I can get a Tiny Terror head on eBay for 371 euro and I see a 2x12 on eBay for 226 euro. So basically around 500 euro. Hmmm. Pretty alright methinks.

I tried one of the Korean imports made by MusicYo and I was just like "damn i should play some Cynic". The EMG select single coils had a nice sound to them. Reminds me of an extreme Ibanez RG3120 I saw a while ago. quote Metallica Rocks not a fan of that body shape tbh. If it's any consolation, Ed Roman's body shape isn't built exactly like the old Steinies I think. But asides from that, it's just a super strat shape with a steiny trem. =/
