Here you can post your ideas for making the forum a better place. Any Requests, Feedback and Suggestions are welcome. Also, any complaints can be posted here as well. I'll do my best to keep the forum a fun place with the help of you guys.

I will allow Off Topic General Chats to continue. However, version 8 and onwards, that will be created during my time as a moderator here, will be deleted and post counts WILL be adjusted. Version 5-7 will be deleted as well, but for those, post counts WILL NOT be adjusted. This means that you will not lose any posts due to deletions at this time, but you will when future GD's are deleted.

I have decided NOT to delete version 1-4 and keep them listed in the Thread Index, as those were created prior to my first promotion to the forum.

We need a header contest!

Since there is a Morning and a School and Work thread, why don't we just create a Night/Evening Thread?

Feel free to create it. If I like the idea and it leads to good discussion then I see no problem in that.

I'll think about another header contest. For now the flash banner is great for a while. You didn't participate in the last one however, Hybrid?

It looks like a crazed red pumpkin to me.

I currently like the forum header, but it kills my computer when I'm at home. Why? Dialup. >_< A header contest would be nice though. It would give people a chance to show off their stuff.

Thanks for your input Audacity. I agree with you in some way, therefor I said that I'll see how the thread works out and base my decision on that. I left the Good Morning thread open as well because it is related to Europe in some way, comparing the different ways of how the day goes in different parts of Europe. It turned into a school discussion thread and decided to move that part over to a new thread, discussing school and education in Europe.

The reason that there are some dominating threads, such as the Belgium & Holland thread, is because several forum regulars, such as yourself, rarely still visit the forum to post anymore, which is why the majority of the forum visitors is now Dutch. I never see you attempt to start a discussion in the Scotland thread for example. Try to invite some Scottish friends to talk about stuff that happens in your country here, link the forum, or even the thread you'd like to see active, in your sig.

This goes for other past regulars as well. The Formula 1 Prediction game is great. It was a nice idea by jespomo to interest people to come here again. Threads such as those make the forum active again with more members from different countries coming here. Therefor I'm always open to new thread ideas, I'll see how they work out later. Closing can always be done if needed. If you'd like to start a thread, you're pretty much welcome to start anything you like and I'll look into it. Try looking around other localized forums for ideas for example, like your weather thread.

As for the forum being off topic and turning into a generel chat like Loungin', it's pretty hard for a forum like Europe to talk on topic only. Game forums are more straight away in the topic that's being discussed. Europe is a wide area, which doesn't really have a certain type of topics that can be created like in a game forum. Therefor it seems like most thread go off topic quite fast, while we are still Europeans that talk to each other about topics that interest us. Although, keep in mind that you are always allowed to open any thread about newsstories happening in Europe or topics related to Europe specifically. Mature discussion and members participating in that are always welcome.

Oh yeah, thanks. I'm thinking of decorating the forum a bit with some fancy stuff, like glowy links and such, maybe a different background. Any (Europe related) ideas?

Me neither if it's too much, like in some forums that went through a complete makeover. I'm definitly keeping the blue/lightblue layout of the site, but a nice background might be cool. Country flags could be a good idea, I'll look into that.
