Forum Rules

Hello and welcome to the Europe Forum!
All rules here are to ensure that Europe will stay a nice place to come, so please follow them to have the best time possible.

Repeated offensives will be kept track of and will result in a harder punishment the following time.




Spamming

Do not spam. Spam are posts that have nothing to do with the topic or forum, Examples are flooding the forum or posting one liners .
Spam posts will be deleted instantly and continuous spam will be punished with a ban. And remember: replying to spam is spam, it´s better to report the spam message for a moderator to find.
Consequences: Two warnings and ultimately a ban (length varies upon severity)

Flaming

Do not flame other members, threads or the forum itself. Try to keep the forum filled with peaceful discussion and interesting and fun threads. If you have an argument with another member, resolve it via NeoPM and keep your wars out of here.
Consequences: One warning and an immediate ban if repeated (length varies upon severity)

Advertising

Do not advertise your forum or website. Linking to interesting websites containing material that leads to good discussion is fine. Any linking to sites that benifit yourself is out of the question.
Consequences: Immediate ban (length varies upon severity)

Stay on topic

Try to stay on topic at all times. Every thread is dedicated to a certain topic. If your comment is not fitted for the thread, you may create a new topic to create more discussion. However, if too general, please take it to the general discussion.
Consequences: Warnings are in place

Foul Language

Try to keep the swearing and cursing to a minimum. Word like shit or damn or pretty much anything Neoseeker´s filter system allows is fine, but don't take it too far. Foul language will be edited out of posts.
Consequences: One warning and an immediate ban if repeated (length varies upon severity)

Inappropriate & Pornographic Content

Do not post any kind of vulgar, extremely gore or violent, or pornographic material. This will result in a thread/post deletion and long bans will be handed out.
Consequences: Immediate ban, with a possible permanent if too extreme.

Memberating

You are not the moderator, so don't act like you are. Do not say something like: "Wow, this thread sucks, it will probably get closed" Directing people to threads when a duplicate is posted is fine, but don't go flaming members with words like: "You are so dumb, this is in the Index."
Consequences: One warning and an immediate ban if repeated (length varies upon severity)

Duplicate Threads & Double Posting

Before creating a new thread, check the Thread Index to see if a similar thread already exists. If you are unsure, you can see similar threads at the bottom of your newly created thread or you can search via the Filter threads option.
Consequences: Thread deletion with pm explanation

Foreign Language Threads

Only participate in foreign language threads if you can actually speak the language. And with that I mean being able to speak and type it fluently, not spamming the thread using a translator.
Consequences: Post removal and warnings are in place

Please always follow the Forum wide Rules of Conduct, Etiquette And Acceptable Behaviour, set up by Redemption.
