England fans who have no interest in their local A-League team would be tempted to buy a game ticket when they normally wouldn't be. He'd bring in some serious revenue, there's no doubt about it -------------------

I believe the 'guest player' rule allows the player to be outside of the normal squad rules. Naturally though, the drawback is that he's only available for the 10 games in that season. Also, the FFA needs to approve any and all guest players to ensure they meet the necessary requirements (big name, great player etc). 	That is what $1 million a year can get you. Seriously, Del Piero is just another level above everyone else it's not funny. Such a shame the team around him is so bleeping shit. Must be frustrating for him. Good win for the Roar though, get some goals (and consequently the confidence) flowing again and they'll start climbing up the table. As for the Beckham thing, massive lols. Some dude has called up Fox Sports News and said that he's Beckham's agent and he's interested in Australia, and they've fallen for it hook, line and sinker.
