Help Keep Max 3 off the Streets

Hello Australia, my name is Jordan Briggs, you may or may not know me as an infrequent poster in this forum with little to no real input of value, well ever.

That being said, I'm here asking virtual strangers for your help much like a Kenyan Prince would.

Only not.

My work has screwed me over in terms of pay rate, I was initially told it would be weekly turns out is bi-weekly, which leaves me in a situation where tomorrow I will be effective homeless, and thus forced to move into a cheap government housing facility with all the junkies and alcoholics with nothing but a flimsy matress to protect me from near certain death or at the very least a contraction of AIDS.

To cut to the chase, I'm not asking for your credit card numbers, I'm not asking for you to give me the entirety of your wallets, all I'm asking is for you, Australia to consider donating 1 or 2 dollars to go towards my rent for the coming week or if you live within the Bundaberg CBD or the surrounding suburbs, to let me crash on your couch for a night.

I know it is a lot to ask, but I am quite honestly down to my last $10 and I really don't know what else to do.

There's a possibility of a hostel trading slave manual labour for accomadation, but won't know about that until around about 3 o'clock.

wait, so you're work pays you every two weeks... or did you agree on a salary which you thought was a weekly one?

i thought being paid every two weeks was common knowledge

note: bashing aside, maybe (if you live on your own that is) centrelink could help you out

Its library internet, I don't pay.

As for the pay thing, I was told in the initial phone call when I was still in Brisbane that I would be paid weekly, not bi-weekly.

It's something they only told me yesterday, so yeah. Not cool.
