Once I gave my (now deceased) dog some chocolate and he became pretty 'hyper' if that's what you'd call it. 	It's funny my dog must be an immortal because he's eaten 65% of the list you put up BlackHeartedWolf But then again, maybe it'll catch up to him in the long run. I don't want him to die... I can't actually say he doesn't deserve it half the time either, Sailor actually likes to kill smaller animals which he can catch like lizards. ------------------- Can this world from of old always have been so sad, or did it become so for the sake of me alone?

	can dogs build up an imunity to chocolat? cuz my dog has eaten atleast his body weight in chocolate up to date... when he was a puppie, he ate an entire toblerone on his own, and didnt even throw up afterwards, and acted no differently, moved up to boxes of laura secord chocolate a few years later, eating one of those 4 layer very drak chocolat box things... and hes eaten many MANY other cocolaty treats over the years. most of them by accident and hes not dead yet..

	Dogs do not develop an immunity to theobromide, although they may develop some degree of tolerance. Like most chemicals, theobromide is metabolized by the body and then eliminated as a waste product through any of several means. If your dog has only eaten a minimal amount of chocolate on rare occasions, he may never have had enough theobromide in his system to cause a reaction. It still isn't good for him but at least under those conditions it shouldn't cause a major problem. ------------------- NeoSaurus Rex

	Are you sure that almonds are toxic to dogs? My mother and I have always given hickory smoked almonds to my dog. And there have been no adverse visible effects.

	the first one was alchol. My dog got into our drinks room and he knocked over a bottle of christmas sherry and lick half of it up! i was really scared because i was the only one in the house. besides falling over once or twice and not doing much the next day he was fine. i was so relived
