 Topic: Resident evil 3 nemesis worth getting?

I was contemplating getting this game.
But my friend told me that this game is nowhere near as good as the others. I have been a resident evil fan since code veronica which was the first game ever to get me hooked. Give me full details on what make this game worth wild and then after that below that give me details of the bad stuff. | |

Scare factor nice weapons good story the bad some puzzels near end can get confusing camera angle can get annoying at times overall alot is pretty good about this game Definatly worth it in my opinion | |

Its a great game, you should get it. Its basically similar to all the other RE classics, like RE2 or CVX. Good scares and puzzles. Plus Hard mode is quite challenging. And there is also a mercenaries mini game after you beat the game, although it is not like the RE4 one.

I would purchase it if you already own Resident Evil 1 and Resident Evil 2. If you do not own them I would purchase them instead. If you have a Game Cube I would recommend buying Resident Evil 1 for it, it's a great remake. Resident Evil 2 is also on Game Cube but it's just a direct port from PSX to GC. Anyway they're far better than Resident Evil 3 IMO. Just off the top of my head this is what I think...
The Good 1. You can make your own ammo. 2. All the weapons are available at the beginning (I think) 3. You get to revisit Racoon City. 4. The storyline doesn't suck. 5. You actually get to play as a strong female lead this time. (I personally hate Claire) The Bad 1. You have to play as Jill while in the last two games you could choose between two leads. 2. Sometimes when Nemesis chases you the game will give you a few choices, if you choose the wrong one you instantly die. 3. I think the game is too short. Good and/or Bad 1. The game is too easy. Keep in mind that I haven't played this game in years. -------------------  | |

you can play as Carlos for some time
 .and this game is that short because it's meant to be replayed (at least a couple of times), there're several ways through this game, not to mention you won't kill Nemmy all seven or something times during your first playthrough. I agree about Remake, it has updated graphics and crimson heads and stuff, but I would definetely purchase RE3 instead of 2, 2 is way more more primitive and linear. quotethis is bullshit though actually, aside from the very last choice at the end of the game. quoteon light mode. I fail to see how it's easier than 2 or 1 on heavy mode. | |

I meant times in the game where you'd enter a room and Nemesis would be behind you. The game would stop and ask you what you wanted to do and you have to pick from multiple choices.
A good example would be when you enter this kitchen area and Nemesis is chasing you, it'll ask you if you want to run or try to hide from him. I think if you choose to hide he comes in and kills you instantly or something blows up and kills you? I can't remember but I do remember one of the choices leads to instant death. ------------------- | |

Well okay then. I remember it as instant death though, but to be honest I only made that decision one time out of every time I played the game so I must be mistaken.

Its only the last choice, if you don't choose anything, that you instantly die. Thats it. And hard mode was very hard, although now im used to it and can do a handgun and shotgun only
 RE2 wasn't linear. Ok more linear than 3 but still not that much. Although the normal mode in RE2 (hardest mode) was disappointing, the only difference was that you started with no handgun bullets. ------------------- You can take games out of my life, but you can't take my life out of games.

Resident Evil 1 and zero are most scariest and hardest , atleast for me. They also requier more thinking and give more riddles.

i figure you should just buy the whole original trilogy so you can learn the story the money spent is well worth the story in my opinion. Resident evil is the best one out of the originals. fighting the nemesis all seven times on hard mode will get you unlimited ammo for one gun which is worth it and the mini game is fun and challenging after you beat the main game i beat in 4:03 got like $2000 n bought me the infinite assault rifle. FUN!!!
