This sucks, to be honest. I'm glad that Cena will drop the belt but...if the matter is serious, then the WWE wouldn't have much carriers for the title...and as soon as Cena returns, it'll be Batista '06 throughout <_< His return should be big, though.

As mentioned, his nonstop time into the company led to this...was definately bound to happen. I'm not going to jump ahead of myself, though, it may not be serious, after all.

TBD. Depends on what Dr. Andrews says about Cena's injury. Once WWE knows how bad it is, the plans will go from there.

Cena was finally in a good storyline, and to see this happen really sucks, especially how they built up somewhat of a 'darker' side to him after all those weeks. I don't know, it would be cool to see him drop the belt, but under these circumstances, not sure...

True. But there's a little difference between between him losing it and him having to drop it. To me, I wanted Cena's title loss to be a huge surprise, something no one ever saw coming.. well, some could see it coming but it'd be a big surprise nonetheless. It sucks to see that he'll likely lose the title in a forced result, you're gonna look back in a while, and tell yourself "How did Cena lose the title.. right, he had to get injured for that to happen".. bleh, I dunno.

Edit: Wow... surgery. 6-8 months. Goddamn.

Well if people want him to lose it, it should be legit and not due to an injury...gotta be crazy to wish injury on a performer. That's the difference. If you were in Cena's shoes, you'd be disappointed to be off TV after all these consecutive years, too.

Like I said, I'm happy he's dropping it, but I didn't want him to drop it this way. And it's not good for Raw right now, as the few main-eventers are in storylines and such. Orton has been built up quite well in the last few months, though.

Meh, Raw still has plenty of Main Eventers and will get more Main Eventers. Triple H, someone who can carry the company. Randy Orton, Umaga, Mr. Kennedy, and King Booker. Let's not forget that Shawn Michaels and Bobby Lashley are going to return before the end of the year. Raw is still safe and things will run good (if not better) without John Cena holding the WWE Championship.

I'm guessing that they will do some Triple Threat or Fatal Four Way for the WWE Championship at No Mercy. Since Kennedy isn't booked for the pay-per-view he can get added to the match and maybe the winner of the HHH/Umaga match can get added also. Or maybe all four can wrestle for it.
