TNA backstage morale is down again. There is now a real divide between the star group (Nash, Sting, Angle, Christian, Jarrett) and the rest of the roster. The star group not only get more money but also have a separate dressing room to the rest of the workers.

I remember a few of the TNA PPV's I went to in 2005, my friend and I could see the backstage area since we were at the top of the iMPACT zone so we could stand up or sit down and not block anyone. It was cool to see virtually the whole roster stand in one room, talking to each other, and watching the PPV on their own TV. A close-knit locker room is important for growing feds as it helps with wrestler relationships and raises morale with the company so that they have fun wrestling there. Russo, Jarrett, and Angle have begun to kill the solidarity that their backstage once had and now there's a rift forming in the roster which would likely increase with the more WWE rejects they bring in. That's unhealthy for TNA.

Spike today confirmed the rumored 2-hour TNA primetime special on February 12 from 9-11 PM, the Monday that Raw's pre-empted for that dog show. The current plan is to show 5 of what they feel are the greatest TNA matches that have aired only on PPV before. There also will be a countdown of some of the most extraordinary moments in TNA history and TNA will reveal its newest concept (gimmick) match that will debut at Destination X on March 11. The press release didn't say which matches will be aired, only naming several wrestlers.

Yes because lets watch taped matches from when TNA was actually worth watching.. that'll get alot of views for a week anyways.

That'd better mean putting the strap on Joe sooner rather than later. Everyone in the business keeps putting him over as the future of TNA and their next great World Champion, so if TNA ever wants to be a serious threat to WWE they'll get him elevated ASAP.

2 matches have been confirmed as airing on the 2 hour Monday special on 2/12: A King Of The Mountain Match (not sure which one specifically) and a cage match, likely AMW-LAX.

The '05 KOTM was pretty sweet. I have it downloaded, and it's one of my favorite TNA matches. Monty just dominated everyone in the first part, and had I think it was Raven pinned in under a minute. Good times.

Obviously, he was in the WWE for years and was use fairly good. He'd probably expect to come to the WWE and be a Main Eventer though. I highly doubt Vince and others would have any interest in resigning him. I always thought it was obvious when they "War with WWE" things started up that if they were offered they'd jump ship in a heartbeat.
