[Angle vs Joe] » TNA Starting Feud Too Soon?

Actually, this isn't really a spoiler anymore since iMPACT has been shown on both of its airings, including the repeat, as well as Xplosion was shown. And no, it's not the best rivalry in wrestling history, that's just a crock of garbage, no offence Saying what feud is the best would just break the rules of listing and favorites, so I won't bring that up either (and neither should anyone else ).

This is an anticipated rivalry, but it just started and hasn't evolved into anything much. All they're doing is having them fight and get broken up week after week. It seems like the Edge-Hardy feud, and we all know how well that ended up for Hardy If either one loses this feud it will screw their validity up immediately. Joe has been built up like a killing machine and is one step away from going for the NWA Title. If he loses to Angle as his first loss, I'll be completely pissed off that they keep letting WWE wrestlers enter into TNA and beat their own talent that they build up (or get from RoH and build them up as TNA talents). If Joe wins the feud than Angle's credibility that he has been given in TNA won't mean much at all, losing in his first feud. This is a lose-lose scenario where the only way to win is have the match go to a draw (preferably time limit), to show that both guys are machines to be reckoned with in TNA.

I think that TNA has been going down since they took the focus off the "new faces of professional wrestling" and turned it into "WCW Take 2". I think that Angle's a great wrestler but TNA's not Angle's playground. Much like TNA isn't Sting's playground. It's guys like AJ Styles and Ron Killings that made TNA, not Sting and Angle made TNA. That's my main concern over their storylines and whatnot. As for Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle...I don't care. It just doesn't intrigue me. Nothing that TNA does anymore really captures my attention. So the spitting/slobbering/shouting/mouthpiece-wearing baldie is going to fight Samoa Joe...big deal. I say a great fued would be AJ Styles vs Ron Killings. At least that would feature some serious arial skill, which is what TNA was known for back in the day. And remember, Joe can't go all out on Angle...so I don't expect it to be that amazing. Though I do expect Angle to be the one to break Samoa Joe's record, you can kind of feel it coming. With that being said, 99% of TNA fans still won't see it coming, yet half of them would want Angle to win.

Angle Vs. Joe is going to be good if they let it be good. If either of them try to hog all the spotlight then its ruined. They both are amazing talents and if anyone disagrees then they are a "Hulk Hogan" fan and dont really know what wrestling is. (if you dont understand my insult then PM me) But onto my point. This is pretty much a lose lose situation. The only way to save this is for Joe and Angle to go to a time limit draw. Then when the match is over they both shake hands and show respect for one another. This will save the credibility for both men as well as boost up Joe. Angle has already done it all, I could care less if he wins the NWA title. Joe should have won the NWA title about 3 months after his debut, but no TNA wanted to put him in the X-Division...stupid move.

I agree with what some have said about being pissed about WWE wrestlers jumping ship and then running over all TNA talent ex: Christian. He came to TNA, Month and a half later he wins the title. Stupid. Why bring in someone just to run over your talent that you have been building up since day one. They need to let people like Raven, Rhino(I know he is WWE, but mainly he is TNA now), Truth, Abyss, Jarrett(not so much, getting tired of him), Styles and Daniels run the show. Daniels along with Eric Young need to get a Title reign. They are possibly the most under-rated superstars in TNA. When people mention TNA people think of Styles, Samoa Joe, Sting, and Jarrett. Daniels is the best wrestler on the roster hands down. He is technical and high flying.

Wow im ranting about absolutely nothing to due with the topic. Sorry about that. Joe vs. Angle = Lose Lose unless its a Time Limit Draw.

Joe will lose... and I'm going to be pissed. Hopefully they can do like a rubber match or something... probably only way they would be able to restore Joe's hype. But Angle's been hyped the hell out of, so he can't lose. Either both guys will be knocked out in the match (no contest) or Kurt will win.



They should have waited this match out. Have Joe become champion and six months (hopefully later) have Kurt be the one to finally beat him.

I'm not mad about that at all. I love ROH-Joe way more than TNA-Joe, and he's lost loads of times in ROH. What I mean is that it will probably hurt his image in TNA, I guess you could say. Basically, they're putting him under the bus.

Yes this I knew but I was referring to the fact that WWE sent Kurt papers saying that he couldn't be referred to a Machine in anyway and that he couldn't call his Ankle lock the Angle lock.

LOL! Yeah, I can't believe he said he quit! Just about everybody knows he got fired! LOL! I don't know who TNA thinks they are fooling! LOL!
