Eugene vs Umaga wasn't the opening match? Wow that sucks lol. I wanted them to get that out of the way, Orton and Angle seems to be a good opener, nonetheless.

I'm happy that RVD retained I always thought Edge had it won, and it'll end the crossing over of brands. Damn, that crazy suplex from the triple threat match was amazing. I wish that the Spirit Squad vs DX would be for the tag team titles.

Meh...Sabu deserved to win, Cena didn't do many moves, as usual. It's like everytime Cena does the STFU, he wins...come on, there's way better submission moves out there, Cena isn't the submission type. It's hard to get out of the STFU, but it's not impossible.
What are they trying to do, show that Cena can be technical? I can't remember the last time Cena won by pinfall.
I'm gald that RVD retained, because although Edge deserves a good, longer title reign, it would just be a repeat of what happened when Edge won the title for the first time. Transitional champion or something like that he was called, and I wouldn't want that to happen to RVD. If anyone's going to take the belt off of him, though, it should be Edge.

I'm loving this header. I'm with you Token, I want to see that match, my money's off to Undertaker. I hate to say this, but I hope King Booker wins that match against Rey...I want Booker to get the main gold. And damn...good luck to Mark Henry, there's no way in hell he'll beat Batista, that would upset everyone, and the writers aren't THAT stupid, are they?

I'm happy that King Booker is the heavyweight champion. He deserved this for a long damn time, a great year for him, indeed. He went from promoting people like the Boogeyman, to becoming King of the Ring and now, the champion.

LoL Terror, to me...it sounds like you need to join a 'kiss-my-ass' club for a certain moderator. If Summoner didn't watch wrestling, why would he just post this other info? Read between the lines. He didn't order the PPV, which I, too, thought was a mistake, as it definately was one of the best all year, imo. Seeing is believing. Summoner, I suggest you order the encore presentation of SummerSlam for tomorrow, and give better judgement, though. I mean, why wouldn't you order this one, it's title is similar to your name Still, no need to insult Summoner. A true wrestling fan? What is that defined as? True as in a geek to wrestling? You also are assuming that Summoner doesn't watch TNA (or any other wrestling show)...wow Anyways, that's besides the point. Sure a lot of titles could have been on the line, but I'm sure people were tired of a Spirit Squad involvement in a match, and Lita defending her title would be lame because we'd see her again managing Edge's match. Besides, the three most important titles in each brand was on the line, and that's what matters. Tag divisions are weak at the moment, anyways. This message was edited by Storm_NTG on Aug 21 2006.

No. Matt Hardy is a heavyweight wrestler. He's pretty much over 220lbs. That classifies under light heavyweight, along with Jeff Hardy. Over 250lbs is heavyweight I think, so technically, Matt can go for the cruiserweight title. And some of those predictions aren't really predictions xD Meh, I hope they actually go out of the cell in this HIAC match. I want to see Show or someone Sweet Chin Music'd off the top of the cell.

It was at SummerSlam, I think the year 2000. The rivalry build-up between three tag teams: Edge and Christian, The Dudleyz, and The Hardyz. E&C's favorite weapon at the time was chairs, Dudleyz obviously tables, and Hardyz ladders...that's how they built up to that match.
I can't wait for the TLC match, it's always a superb match, even if Cena is in it xD
*Edit* Oops, you mean singles TLC match. The first was with Flair and Edge for the title, on Raw sometime in mid-January.

Sadly, I missed this PPV. I'm glad that DX won, always knew that Trish would win (why the hell would they make her lose her last match?), those felt like the obvious outcomes. Sucks that Cena doesn't go to Smackdown!, I was beginning to like the guy Now, like half of New York, I'll be the one who thinks "F-U Cena" everytime I see him.

Did anyone notice how freakishly huge Trish's reaction was for hitting the sharpshooter? Biggest of the night, closest being the double table F-U. Good idea on WWE's part, but what of the Women's Title? I'm sure she'll give it to another Diva. My guess would be Maria...don't know why Maybe I'll get the encore Tuesday presentation, this PPV got great responses.

In SvR '06, light heavyweights can also go for the cruiserweight title, so even if Hardy isn't considered a cruiserweight, he's still qualified for it. If they did cruisers only, there would be even lesser use for the title as it is.

Big Show vs John Cena vs King Booker A. WWE Championship B. World Heavyweight Championship C. ECW Championship
DX vs Randy Orton and Edge A. Eric Bischoff B. Vince Mcmahon C. Jonathan Coachman
Spirit Squad vs Ric Flair and ??? A. Dusty Rhodes B. Roddy Piper C. Sgt. Slaughter
Umaga's open challenge A. Chris Benoit B. Kane C. Sandman
Jeff Hardy vs ??? A. Carlito B. Johnny Nitro C. Shelton Benjamin
What are you, some kind of politician xD We vote on who we want to vote on. I'd choose Cena's title, but meh, this title on the line thing is stupid. I think the defender will retain...that's why I think Booker T will win the match, hoping that he pins Cena in the process.

Don't you get it yet, Karld? Even if the entire nation votes differently than what the WWE expects, they'll make it so that their plan goes into play. It's fixed, got that? Meaning, our votes don't entirely matter, they won't give us everything we wish to see. I'm voting the obvious. I'll explain why I voted for the certain ones.
Out of the list, I know only Piper and Slaughter are more capable of wrestling right now than Dusty Rhodes, so it's unlikely that he'd be picked. Everyone remembers the rivalry with McMahon and DX, so of course...the CHAIRMAN of the WWE would like to be a part of the PPV. Again, there's a friggin' rivalty with Kane and Umaga, an unfinished one, Benoit and Sandman don't add up to it, Kane's the best bet to defeating the guy.
I told you, the only reason I picked the World Heavyweight title is because I am certain that the defending champion will retain. This won't be a damn undisputed thing again, why would they have a brand go without a main title? That'll be a shock, but I chose Booker T and not Cena because I don't want to see Cena be the "CoC." Same with the Big Show, but it's unlikely that his belt will be put on the line. I like Show and all, but there won't be enough votes for his belt. Smackdown's sucking hard right now, which is why it'd be good for Booker to win it...I used logic in all my choices.
Like the thing that happened with Ken Shamrock vs whoever from UFC. McMahon thought it was Shamrock that brought the fans, but it was the RIVALRY that made it a great event. That's where Kane vs Umaga comes into play.
