Read and Respect the Rules or be Punished by them!

[Disclaimer]
This is your ONLY Forum Warning, so take heed! Fail to follow these Inter-forum rules that have been designed to keep order in this forum will result in a ban (Usually 10-20 Days). If you fail to read through the following list, get banned and decide to complain to a Super, your complaint will become Null-and-void. You have been warned.

Hollywood, Slacker and Myself helped get this forum created as a haven for Real fans to discuss Wrestling without the hassle of posting in one of those PS2/GCN/Xbox-Wrestling Game Forum. We take this Forum Seriously and we'll be damned to see it overrun by idiotic, spamming children, hellbent on raising their post count. We are tired of some of you who are bringing the forum down be it a form of stupidity or your senseless spamming. You want to participate in this forum, then pay attention, follow the rules and act mature! Those who think they are above these following orders might as well remove themselves from the forum, because we are Your Judge, Your Jury, and Your Executioner; We always win.
[SPOILERS]
All Spoilers, Rumors, New Information, WWE PPV Related, WWE RAW/ECW/Smackdown etc., and/or TNA related discussion goes in their respective threads (floated at the top of the forum). Under no circumstances are you allowed to post a spoiler outside the WWE S&R thread and/or the TNA Central thread. The WWE PPV thread is there to discuss the PPV, so do so there and not in another thread. Each month the thread is updated for the next PPV, so do not create a thread for an upcoming one that isn't yet listed in the Thread Title and/or Sub-text.

    • No threads (even those marked with Spoilers Warnings in the Title) shall be created the night of and/or after Raw, ECW or Smackdown! or a PPV. This prevents having the PPV ruined for those waiting for Monday Night's Raw (or Tuesday's PPV encore) as well as for the UK members who have to wait until Saturday to watch Raw/Smackdown!. It's designed to allow everyone the chance to still participate in the forum (eg. individual wrestler threads, other discussions) without having anything ruined for them. No mentioning of current storylines, returns, surprises, shock value, etc in an Individual wrestler thread. If it just happened that week on RAW/ECW/SmackDown, then keep it in the S&R thread, until after the weekend.

    • [Taping Results] - This will refer to SmackDown mainly (and for those who care, TNA's iMPACT) as PPV's are live and so is RAW the majority of the time [ECW results vary and usually aren't up quick enough by the time it airs]. We report News here, not Spoilers. Keep taping results and/or spoilers to yourself. I personally do not care who is "first" to read it and be the one to come here and copy/paste the article. No achievement will unlock. There is no eternal glory at the end of the post. I'd rather recapture some form of my youth when wrestling was unpredictable and enjoyable and be surprised by not knowing every minute detail about the show prior to watching it. If you read something that will spoil the show, expect some sort of punishment, whether that be a closed/deleted thread or a ban will depend on how big the spoiler is. If you absolutely must post it, put the spoiler in a spoiler box and try not reveal it in the thread title (ie. put something along the lines of [WWE News] Former Wrestler set to return).

    • [Individual Wrestler Threads] - If something happens on WWE RAW, WWE SmackDown!, TNA iMPACT! and/or a PPV discuss it in their Spoiler threads floated at the top of the forum. Do not go into an individual wrestler thread and spoil the current talk about a wrestler. An example would be a discussion about The Rock. He, in a surprised unannounced return, shows up on RAW that night. DO NOT go into the Rock's individual wrestler thread and say, "Well something happened tonight, highlight the part in quotes to see what happened.". That's basically just giving his return away and spoiling it for others. Discuss it in the S&R thread and there wont be a problem.

Basically what the rule is....Use the current Spoiler & Rumor thread for current discussion, period!
[Reviews]
Basically if you want to critique both the show or a ppv, then you better put in the time to watch. Any reviews or opinions you may think you have about the show is nullandvoid if all you've done is "read" a spoiler review either before the show has aired itself, or after the show has aired. Anything and everything appears boring or a bit lackluster on paper form. You miss all the components that went to put that match on and simply reading who wins or reading the end of the match doesn't give you reason enough to validate your decision to bash it when you're less than thrilled the result. Repeat "reviews" under these conditions will result in a post deletion and continuous offenses will result in a ban.
[Language]
I don't mind the foul language, but be reasonable. Posts such as:
"*bleep* Goldberg!! I *bleep*ING HATE HIS *bleep*ING GUTS! *bleep* HIM, and *bleep* HIS FANS!! HE's A STUPID MOTHER*bleep*ER NO-TALENTED *bleep*ING BITCH! I HOPE HE *bleep*ING DIES:#"....will only get you banned!
      [Other Examples]:
"PS. Cena & Michaels SUK!!!111" "Gayberg sucks!"
[Creating Threads]
Use the Index or Search for Existing Topics. This forum was created in early 2003 so it's pretty old and continuously growing. I'm pretty sure there's already a "Favorites" thread covering every aspect of Wrestling imaginable. Threads topics we DO NOT want to see are:

    - "Favorite High Risk Move"
    - "Is Molly Really Bald?"
    - "Are Kurt's Medals Real?"
    - "Why do u people hate goldberg?"
    - "What Do You Think Of?"
    - "Blood isn't real. They use Bloodpackets!"
    - "NO JOKIN@!!! i know who mr america really is!!!"

Yes, although they sound ridiculous, they actually have been created (and rightfully closed). If you're unsure if the thread will be allowed, best not to post it since your first instinct is usually 90% of the time correct! It is also annoying to start a thread based generally on "What Do You Think Of [Wrestler]" with the beginning post stating the same and nothing else. You want to know what we think, well we want to know what you think. If you don't put in the time to get the thread started, then why should anyone waste time replying to it.

Think up other intelligent discussions rather than Hate threads for Wrestler's you despise the most too. We can only handle so many "Anti-(Insert Wrestler's Name Here)" type of threads before any of us go Ape-shit on the Forum and Your Post count. Yes, most of us within this forum (10/1*) share a common bond with our hatred towards Goldberg, thus why a thread dedicated to hating him is randomly allowed. But not everyone hates Jericho, Chavo, JR & The King, and certainly not the majority of us hate HHH, which is why "Anti-Threads" for them remain closed upon creation. Don't confuse their on-screen character with actual charismatic skill or their personal life persona.

    * (Out of every 10 members, there's typically one of those still living in '97 who thinks Goldberg is THE GREATEST Wrestler to ever grace Professional Wrestling. Sickening, no?)
[CT]: [Mod Approvals]
    [CT]: A - [Game Threads]
These are Not Allowed, Period! Real Discussions_OR_Bust! If you want a game thread, go to a Wrestling Game forum (ie. one of the many PS2 Smackdown series). Only with a Moderator's approval will a game thread be allowed.

    [CT]: B - [One-Liner List Threads]
Best / Worst / Favorite / Least Favorite / Most Hated / Most Disliked / Pointless / Greatest / - Move, Wrestler, Gimmick, PPV, Signs, Storyline and anything else that fits into this pattern are forbidden within this forum.

Although not in the Author's intentions of having everyone spam a list of whatever the topic is designed for, each and everyone end up turning into a spam fest. It's gotten far beyond the point of simply "deleting" those spam posts. If you have an idea for a topic in this category, PM a Mod and get a "Mod Approval" first!

[CT]: C - [PPV List Predictions]
When 3 pages gets spammed in just a few hours, we know we have a problem, especially when 40 out of the 45 posts are nothing but spamful list predictions. You are not allowed to quote your list and spam "Got [insert] out of [insert] many right." Now you are no longer allowed to post a list prediction period.* It's all spam and has been abused for far too long. Discuss with one another who you think will win each of their respective matches on the upcoming card. Any list predictions will be deleted on site. Failure to abide by these PPV rules will result in a ban.

      * - (Currently only applies to WWE PPV thread. TNA doesn't generate enough traffic so Posting Predictions are still allowed, but quoting them after the PPV is still forbidden).

(Revision to this rule: There is now an approved separate thread for you to predict winners, set up under a Fantasy Draft pick sort of game that you would find among other sport sites. Please search for the current thread and keep predictions out of the floated PPV thread. Thank you.)

    [CT]: D - [Thread Titles]
Please keep thread titles specifically to what the topic is about and not try and hide it behind some witty sentence. It kills the search function when you have everything but the subject matter in the thread title. It will help on the search function when people want to search for specific incidents or wrestlers if say Kurt Angle which would bring up: "[ News ] Kurt Angle Arrested" rather than having "Which Certain Olympic Superstar May Be Wrestling In Jail"... (open thread)... Kurt Angle (quote article).

This was established long ago in this forum, and throughout the years others took it upon themselves to create their own style and put a spin on thread titles. Just can't have it anymore. Mind you, some thread titles wont need this, but depending on what the topic is about, please use one of these titles:

      • [WWE News] Insert Topic - If it's WWE related.
      • [TNA News] Insert Topic - If it's TNA related.
      • [ROH News] Insert Topic - If it's ROH related.
      • [Wrestling News] Insert Topic - If it's about a former wrestler who isn't currently signed anywhere, about any other Indy Promotion or anything not related to the former three companies.

If it's an obituary, please be respectful and put [Wrestling Obituary] in the title with a respectful title rather than "So-So Dead". Also substitute News for Rumors in the title if it's not a confirmed incident or some bogus story.
[Spaming]
Do not post on this board simply to whore your personal website. Your post will be sent to the Administration, your account banned and a notice to yours ISP will be sent out for an immediate termination.

    Other Spam:
    • Do Not Post One-Liners.
    • Do Not Use Annoying Font. If I can't see it, can't read it, I delete it.
    • Do Not Quote the Entire Post and simply put "I agree" or a smiley.
    • Do Not Flood the Forum by replying to every thread.
    • Do Not Flood a thread itself by replying to every post that isn't yours.
    • Do Not Spam False Information, or any other bullshit for the sake of increasing your post count or to get your 15 Minutes of Fame.
    • Do Not create Pointless threads that'll only get a few intelligent replies with the rest being left for the "I Agree"'s.
    • Think up some intellectual discussions instead of "Rico: Is He Gay?" / "Why Is Kurt Angle Still Bald?"
    • DO NOT QUOTE THE ENTIRE POST DIRECTLY ABOVE YOUR OWN!
    • Do Not Pyramid Quote (ie. quote, upon a quote, upon a quote etc then your comment). Edit the quotes out or don't quote at all.
[Flaming]
It's a Wrestling Forum...makes sense that there will be difference of opinion especially views on certain Wrestlers. Again, Keep the fights ("debates") reasonable. If you act like a 6 year old, then you will be treated like a 6 year. Show respect to earn respect.
      [See Language for Further examples].
[Memborating]
You can help out by providing a link to the appropriate thread every now and again, but under no circumstance are you to act like the Moderator of this forum! Do not request closure to a thread that you did not create. Your post will most likely get ignored and deleted for contributing nothing. Repeat offenses will result in a ban. If a situation is to arise, report the post if it's spam or link to an appropriate thread if it's a duplicate topic and Do Not reply to it with anything else; doing so could only make matters worse!
['TARDifying™]
THE Worst thing we constantly have to endure in this forum; it's like a plague but rather than locusts it's spam! What is this disease? Members who insist on replying to SPAM THREADS! It's a mixture of [Memberating] and [Spaming], but much more worse since [Flaming] can be involved when Members simply "DO NOT SHUT THE HELL UP!" No one needs out of a 10 post thread, 7 out of the 10 posts to say:

    - "Um, why was this reported?"
    - "This is spam. Go here. Request Closure!"
    - "I wonder when the mods will close this. You should stop spaming, it's against the rules and moderators will ban you."

Like, no shit people, I don't think the spammers need you to tell them that since they'll figure it out on their own when they seem not to be able to post within the forum (or when they see their thread closed) ... As it states in [Memberating], REPORT THE POST, S. T. F. U. and Stay the Hell away from the thread. If the post has already been reported, then practice the latter two parts of the three guidelines.
- Contact the Current Moderator(s) for Questions & Concerns regarding the forum.

That's what we're here for...
