I was a mark then so I preferred them to EnC and the Dudleys. My actual favourite tag team was The Brothers of Destruction.

I'm not even sure how to feel about this. If there weren't any drugs involved and stuff, I'd say go for it. I'd hate for them both to come back for the tag team division though, and for Matt to mess it up for them. It'd tarnish his already shoddy reputation further, and then we'd either see Jeff released again, paired up with a partner that doesn't make sense, or have him placed in the singles division and given a world title just because he's Jeff Hardy.

Half of the IWC are a bunch of hypocrites, anyway. If Dean Ambrose or another one of their boners took drugs it would be fine, y'know, he's a grown man, he can do what he wants, if that's taking drugs, so be it!

Even if Matt hadn't learnt his lesson and still played up, he would still benefit the company unless he went on a public outrage but I'm sure WWE would ensure if he did anything like this, he could be fired immediately. Just like the probably scenario of him only getting a contract because of Jeff returning. I doubt he would even play up, especially with Jeff there and him taking him on through his contract. Even with the loss of loads of his fans, he still has more than every single mid carder bar Christian (and Mysterio). I'm talking about Matt fans, not just Hardy Boy fans. The ones that would take Matt over Jeff. I'm sure all the Jeff-lovers would gravitate towards Matt, anyway. Which means he'd just be back at the top with Christian, or even higher. Over the past year or so, he could have held either world title, probably not the WWE title, actually. Anyway, he could be a solid upper-mid carder, both for singles competition and tag teams.

He could win the tag titles perhaps one more time with Jeff and then with numerous other people to get them in the 'spotlight' with someone like himself. Say he teams with superstar A, wins titles, loses titles, teams with superstar B, wins titles, loses titles but they turn him and form their own tag team, a young tag team that won't lose the titles because they have an old, slow, etc superstar. Then he could team with superstar C to take on superstar A and B etc. That's 3 people who get tag team titles/air time to show what they can do. It's not like Matt can't at least put on a half decent match and he's still prepared to take risks.

As for the singles competition, he's one of the best candidates to hold the IC title and put over young stars. Same goes for the US title. He can also always be used for a world title match if others get injured or even hold the title to transition for another champion.

Jeff's qualities are obvious and I very, very, very, very much doubt he would take drugs because of his legal troubles and his daughter. Everyone can see that he's learnt his lesson(s) and now he has a daughter, there's way too much for him to lose.

Edit: I almost forgot, if Matt returns, we'll most likely see Reby in the future, too!

I'd love to see Jeff back in the WWE, purely for the fact CM Punk would verbally destroy him again. Their feud was entertaining.

The thing with people like Bourne, they didn't really let drugs get the best of them, you know? Yes, he got caught, twice. But did you notice any change within his matches?

can't really say the same about the hardys. granted, both matt and jeff have been fairly clean in a while. so props to them.
