TMZ reports that former WWE Superstar Daivari says he saved passengers on a Minneapolis, Minnesota train last week after a fellow passenger threatened to kill everyone. Daivari says he used a rear-naked choke to take the man down. The train was headed to the local airport when the man began making threats. Daivari said police were taking too long so he took the man down and dumped him from the train. Metro Transit Rail police say they are investigating the incident as a fight.

No footage. Hasn't anyone in Minneapolis heard of cellphones? WWE.com even hosted an interview with him over the incident. Point of posting all of this? His name reminded me of Muhammad Hassan. Then I got sad all over again at what could have been. I always wondered why WWE never brought Daivari back into the role of Hassan, only more toned down and not so much a terrorist as they turned Hassan into. More or less basically a modern day Iron Sheik role. I mean, I don't recall Sheik ever being a "terrorist", Anti-American of course and a big heel, but nothing like they did with Hassan to the point they had to literally kill him off television.

Not exactly, Batista was the one with the title at the time. Reports said booking toyed around with the idea of Hassan beating Batista for the title before shit hit the fan.

Just that Taker was - sadly - Hassan's last feud. There could've been more but eh well. As for Daivari... that's a g right there. A passenger said he choked him out so well the victim peed his pants.

Ah, that's right. Thanks, The Hazard. It's a shame he wasn't just written off for a little while. Reckon that is the only case of a killing off in pro wrestling (unfortunate IRL deaths aside)?

Upon closer inspection, he looks like Ashur from Spartacus, if anyone watches that awesome show.
