That was the best payperview I ever saw!
And what in the blue blazes of hell was Steven Richards wearing? Pink shorts with eyes? Hell what was Triple H wearing? Purple shorts at the grandaddy of em all? BEST PAYPERVIEW EVER! My favourite part was when Limp Bizkit was singing "Rollin' " and Taker came out! Best entrance ever! The deadman's still got it!... -------------------

Markvic's WMXIX review:
Match #1 Cruiserweight Championship Match Matt Hardy def. Rey Mysterio Jr. An OK way to start the PPV, but I'm dissapointed that Rey didn't win. 6/10 Match #2 Handicap Match Undertaker def. Big Show & A-Train Great performance by Limp Bizkit (although UT changed his song ages ago) but when is Nathan Jones gonna have his 1st match exactly, it better be this week otherwise people are gonna lose interest in him. 7/10 Match #3 Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match Trish Stratus def. Jazz & Victoria Didn't really like this match that much, obviously I love Trish & I'm glad she won but this match didn't really get the fans excited. 4/10 Match #4 Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Match Team Angle def. Chris Benoit/Rhyno & Los Guerreros Like the last match, this one didn't really get the fans excited although it will be interesting to see where Team Angle go from here. 3/10 Match #5 Shawn Michaels def. Chris Jericho Kinda like the match between Savage & Steamboat at WMIII only that one was better, 1 of the best matches at the event but I was hoping for Jericho to turn face after the match, & it looked like he was going to when him & HBK hugged but when he kicked him in the balls, well, ya know what I mean. 8/10 Match #6 WrestleMania XIX Catfight Great seeing all those hot b*tches fighting on a bed, but the Coach getting his trousers pulled down kinda put a dampener on things. 7/10 Match #7 World Heavyweight Championship Match Triple H def. Booker T Typical boring over-hyped HHH match, jesus even though I predicted this to happen, I was praying that I'd be wrong but I wasn't, now hoping to see a HHH/Austin/Goldberg rivalry which will result in a new champ being crowned. 3/10 Match #8 A Match 20 Years in the Making Hollywood Hulk Hogan def. Vince McMahon This match was an awful lot better than I expected, although I was kinda hoping that Vince would win cos Hogan is obviously past his best, great to see the return of Roddy Piper though, & Shane coming out at the end to help his dad was just the perfect ending to a classic WM moment. 9/10 Match #9 The Rock def. Stone Cold Steve Austin Great performance seeing as they had 2 previous Mania matches to build upon & had to wrestle straight after the best match on the card, I thought the last 2 Mania matches were better though, not cos Austin won them, but cos they were more entertaining, this match was good though. 9/10 Match #10 WWE Championship Match Brock Lesnar def. Kurt Angle These 2 worked brilliantly round Kurt's neck injury & sold a fantastic Main Event, and Angle might only be out for a month now, but Lesnar injured himself performing that Shooting Star Press which btw I personally couldn't believe when I saw it. 9/10 Other notes: Those catfight girls are really hot I'd just like to say, & did anyone notice that when Torrie & Stacy were having an all-out bitchfight, those 2 were basically just wripping each other's clothes off on the bed. Brock is to have his neck looked at to see how badly he injured himself performing the SSP, but I hear that signs are not good. Goldberg looks set to make his debut tonight, although I was hoping to see him make his debut at Mania. It was my 16th birthday yesterday & as a present, I gotta stay up till 6am watching WM live & I'll take it as a present from the WWE. Overall, I give the PPV a 9.5/10! Edit: Had to remove the landmark cos some cowardly mod keeps on deleting my posts for no major reason. What I liked about WM:
Brock winning Hogan winning Catfight Victoria's ass being shown Rowdy Roddy Piper's appearance Rock winning Trish winning Limp Bizkit's live performance What I didn't like about WM: HHH winning Triple Threat Tag title match World tag title match in which Dudleyz helped Kane & RVD only to change their minds (even though this actually happened on Heat) Nathan Jones debut being held off for even longer No Stephanie

Sucka T losing was great, glad he lost. HHH doesn't bother me all that much but him winning is a helluva lot better that Sucka T winning.

He didn't, he "kicked" Vince, then smacked Hogan with the pipe. If your a Wrestling fan you will remember the Piper/Hogan Mania rivalry.

I gotta say, what an awesome PPV that turned out to be. One of the best I've seen since Survivor Series last year. Great matches, great hype and generally a good atmosphere.
Didn't hear too much of a crowd reaction though. May be due to the fact that the arena wasn't fully closed off, some roof appeared not to be there. My favourite match by far was the final one. Kurt put in a great performance even with his injuries and I was impressed by how they kept it going for so long. Ouch for Lesnar though, what a blow he took. Rock and Austin had a good match too, and Hogan won. ¬_¬ Still, I hear rumours that Angle may be back a lot sooner and expected so let's hope so.

Yes it was a good PPV, despite the fact that Hogan won...I wish he would retire. He is older than dirt.
