TNA IMPACT WRESTLING’s President Dixie Carter announced the signing of Chavo Guerrero, Jr. via twitter. He will make his IMPACT WRESLTING debut on Thursday, July 26 on SPIKE TV. This signing means that two members of the legendary Guerrero family are part of the TNA family; as Chavo is the nephew of TNA commentator Hector Guerrero. Tune in Thursdays at 8:00pm ET to catch IMPACT WRESTLING live on Spike TV. Hailing from one of the more storied and successful families in the pro wrestling arena, the Guerrero family has racked up more championship titles and accolades than anyone. He is the son of Chavo, Sr. and his grandfather and patriarch of the Guerrero family, the late Gory Guerrero, is still one of the most famous wrestlers in Mexico. Having competed all over the world for various promotions, Chavo has won a number of championship gold, including a tag-team gold with his late uncle Eddie Guerrero. 	Giving him a run after Eddie's death would have been pointless. That accolade went to Rey Rey. Can see him having a solid mid-card run in TNA, shouldn't really be anything bigger than that at his age to be honest, not that has ever stopped TNA...

	That's just a laughable comparison. When Christian caught a break with Edge's retirement he was one of the top (most over)midcarder's in the company and had been for years, even before leaving for TNA. He was also already scheduled to start a program with Edge for the WHC. When Eddie died, Chavo was Kerwin White. He'd never even been trusted to hold one of the midcard title's so to suggest giving him a World Title run is lunacy. Rey Mysterio was in a far better position to capitalize and with hindsight it has to be said that they clearly made the right decision.

	Wasn't Chavo ECW Champion? The title (even the WWE version) was granted world status by the wrestling mags, so he technically got that run...and like the rest of his career, it was uneventful. Don't get me wrong, he's a good in-ring worker and promo guy but not on his uncle's caliber. Not by a long shot.
