	Log in to remove this sponsored message WWE NXT GRADUATING TO ITS OWN TAPINGS, MOVING TO FLORIDA quote WWE NXT will be graduating to its own tapings, combined with WWE developmental Florida Championship Wrestling starting on Thursday 5/17 at 7 PM. The tapings will be held at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL (near Orlando) at the Full Sail Live gym. Tickets for the tapings will be free to FSU staff and students with ID as long as they reserve the tickets in advance. No word yet as to how the general public can attend. I am told one of the reasons the tapings, which will be branded as "WWE Superstar Showdown", are being moved are to make it easier to integrate WWE developmental talent into the mix for NXT. The hope is that the University feel will give the show a chance for better crowd reactions as well as help upgrade FCW TV to a "grander" look than the FCW Arena in Tampa can provide. The plan is to upgrade NXT and give it more attention as opposed to it being a secondary show on the Smackdown tapings. HHH is behind the moves and will be very involved with the tapings. He was said to be a big fan of the facility when he and other company executives, including Kevin Dunn and Stephanie McMahon scouted last year. This past December, WWE filmed several potential pilots at the facility and signed an exclusivity deal with the University to prevent any other wrestling-related events from being held there. Full Sail is an entertainment media university with state of the art production facilities. Triple H is advertised for the initial taping, which will also feature Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio and R-Truth & Kofi Kingston vs. Epico & Primo. Currently scheduled tapings: May 17, 2012 June 14, 2012 July 5, 2012 July 19, 2012 August 9, 2012 August 23, 2012 September 6, 2012 September 20, 2012 Shame ECW never got this treatment. It really could have benefited with the small arena atmosphere instead of being taped before SmackDown. Better news for NXT though since now hopefully Ambrose, Bo, Husky, Steamboat and Rollins can make their way to WWE TV. wwe, nxt, fcw, wwe news -------------------

	Very cool. This is a much better route rather than shoving it down the SmackDown's audiences throat, it'll be an audience that actually wants to be there. It'll also make it a much bigger deal when they get onto the main show. -------------------

The first show for this looks to be good already with matches announced. Plus doesn't spoil anything since the first tapings is next Thursday. 	Not sure if it's a good idea tbh. 	This is cool news. I'm not a fan of where they tape FCW at the moment and NXT deserves more attention than it's getting so hopefully it'll be an improvement on both accounts -------------------

Yes, WWECW started out with a smaller show with the different side entrance ramp through the crowd, even filming a few special events (like both One Night Stand PPV's and CM Punk's debut) in the Hammerstein Ballroom, but instead of being grounded with a permanent venue (like a lot of us wanted it to be the Hammerstein Ballroom) it was merged with the same venue as the SmackDown tapings. It killed a lot of what made ECW special being in these big arenas where majority of audiences came to see SmackDown tapings and not WWECW. Now, I was a fan of WWECW and thought it was a great little development brand all the way up to it's closure and even thought it had better wrestling and storylines than what was going on RAW at the time, while most people stopped watching and hoped it got scrapped. Just like what became of NXT. Instead of cutting their losses with NXT, they're doing what they should have done with ECW, and putting it in a small, permanent location, which can only mean good things. Look at the first four NXT tapings that hit online, those shows sound incredible with all those FCW debuts that I've been eagerly anticipating seeing them in WWE. -------------------
