WWE has launched the new version of WWE.com this weekend. It was something they had been planning for a number of months to time with Wrestlemania season. The new version features a timeline history of WWE as an organization, kicking off with Vince McMahon purchasing Capitol Wrestling.

Rejoice! The horrible TMZ clone is no more.

Kind of lol'd at them enabling comments on the site, foresee it being filled with Hajeed and 12 year olds screaming "BRING BACK THE ATTITUDE ERA, THUMBS UP IF U AGREE".

New look is nice. I really, really like the new roster page with the transparent PNG's. Kind of reminds me of the WWE12 renders. Still shitty video quality and no high-resolution pictures, but meh.

Yeah, I've been waiting for this for months. It was rumored awhile ago that they hired a professional web design company to redo their site and that they were going to update it around WrestleMania. Glad it happened before the PPV.

Love the new superstar pages. Love how they have ALL their PPV's listed as well as their Youtube shows.

Only complaint are their photoshoots are still in horrible low-res jpeg quality where everything looks pixelated. But at least for the time being pics being uploaded now don't have that "WWE.com" watermark on them, so I can still take the pic, shrink it and then have it come out looking decent for the forum banners or whatever I want to create.

Eff that, someone just sent me this link on how to get HQ photos off their site. The trick works.

Doubt they'll have two elimination chamber themed PPV's, but I noticed that too. Oddly enough, the Elimination Chamber PPV is still listed as "No Way Out" in international markets, so who knows how they're going to rework that. Two "No Way Out" named PPV's? lolz.

As I've hoped for for years now, I hope either at Survivor Series or even now at No Way Out they adopt the War Games theme or use one of these two have a dedicated Scramble Match event. I hope No Way Out isn't another caged theme event. We already have two: Elimination Chamber and Hell In A Cell.

The July PPV has been "TBD" since they released this year's list of PPV's, but in that order they have MITB first for the June PPV. So perhaps the MITB will be to SummerSlam what the Royal Rumble is to WrestleMania, with each having their own elimination style event in between. That could be a cool tradition to adopt.

The superstar pictures do remind me of WWE.12 but I like that.
I was surprised that they even have them kind of pictures for the WWE alumni. While I was there I also noticed that Drew McIntyre is still in the alumni section :S

Since they have these WWE'12 style pictures on there I wonder if we'll see more modded CAW's on the WWE'12 community creations, I hope so.
