CM Punk stole the show... i thought the best part of the show was Mark Henrys line "if i charge for air you better keep your bill paid"... that was until i signed on to neo and saw this... OMG... im watching on DVR and have yet to get to it... I'm not even mad that i spoiled it for myself... it was that epic... OMG

Punk has been removed from the WWE Superstars page on WWE.com, and his official Facebook page has been deleted as well.

I don't think I've seen this much fervor over a single promo since the one The Rock cut his first night back when he was announced as the host of Wrestlemania. Just goes to show you that one Superstar with mic skills can generate more hype than any guest host or gimmick show.

Definitely leaning towards worked shoot. My gut feeling tells me they would have cut his microphone off a lot sooner than that, unless that comment about the company being better after Vince is dead and getting taken over by Triple H and Stephanie was what crossed the line. Also, part of CM Punk's rant was also how he isn't in the signature that airs at the beginning of the show. He actually is.



25 seconds, 27-29 seconds, 38 seconds, and 45 seconds. It seems like he included that because it sounds like something a disgruntled employee would compain about but isn't a genuine grievence.

The first 20 seconds of the video that Turm posted is what I thought Punk meant as well.

Tbf I did say back then that it was about time he was separated from Vickie so he could break out on his own.

Why on earth is Dolph not in the MITB match?

1) Punks Shoot Promo, whatever was awesome. Reminded me of Joey Styles.

2) He mentioned Stephanie in a negative way, because its Punk I shall forgive him.

3) I hope Steph doesnt appear on the July 11th show of Raw in Boston because I didnt get tickets to this show which is what I always do but not this time.. and if she comes out to the ring and Im not there to see her in person for the first time.. all bodily fluids will be released from my body like hot lava.

4) Sin Cara vs Bourne was an awesome match, it sucks Bourne doesnt have many wrestlers *AHEM* Superstars he can face to prove his skill like that.

I DONT WANT TO LOOK AT KELLY KELLYS EXTENSIONS EVER AGAIN.

I thought Punk's promo was good, but apart from the fact it was a worked shoot (a rare thing in WWE), I didn't think it was spectacular. One of the best promos of all-time? I didn't even think it was the best promo this week - that award goes to Sting's late career surge channelling The Joker.

Nevertheless, it was something that RAW and WWE in general often isn't anymore - unpredictable. I'm really enjoying the whole angle, although I do believe that Punk will be coming back to WWE eventually, or they would never run something like this and then risk him turning up in TNA. I suspect he probably will turn up in ROH occasionally, as Vince sees them not as a direct threat but more of an ECW-type organisation that deserves to grow.

I'll be tuning in next week as this is definitely the best thing WWE has had going for it in a long time.
